Enchanted Encampment SW Rally #2
Brief description of event: We will camp in the heart of Sedona, Arizona at Rancho Sedona RV Park, a classic 1960’s style campground. Your trailers will surround our gathering spot: a large grassy area with a BBQ and fire pit and of course we have use of newly remolded men’s and women’s showers. From your camp site you can hop the free shuttle or walk to town. Sedona is a picturesque city surrounded by red-rocks, whether you’re into history and archaeology; arts and culture; power shopping; outdoor sports; or the spiritual and metaphysical, you can enjoy all this, with some of the most spectacular scenery in the world.Our TCT agenda will include, a welcoming cocktail party, grilling up something on Friday night, Saturday show and shine open house, pot luck dinner and more. This will be a wonderful opportunity to see what Arizona is about, and meet up with some other trailer enthusiasts from the region. As they say: If you like trees with lots of shade, grass, quiet and a cool stream, you will love Rancho Sedona RV Park.

Brief description of event: Alumapalooza – will be largely attended by Airstream owners, but all trailers are welcome. The program will include five days of seminars on a variety of topics, musical entertainment on three nights, a big outdoor barbecue, nightly movies, daily door prizes, and much more. (Of course we’ll have those treasured elements of many good events: daily Happy Hours, Swap Meet, Open House, etc.)

Pennsylvania Route 6 Caravan
Brief description of event: June 3rd meet at staging area – probably in Ohio; traveling east stops will take place at the Brookdale Family Campground outside Meadville; City of Port Allegany; Alleghany River Campground; City of Galeton; City of Mansfield; return west on Route 6 to Conneaut Lake Park; a farewell Breakfast will end the event on June 14 th . Each area stop will allow for two day stays in the area. Each stop will provide a meal for the caravan participants. An open house will be provided by TCT on one of the days. Almost all the overnight stays are being provided for free by the host community or campground. If there are any expenses they will be covered by the application/registration fee ($100.00)

Mosport Race Track 50th Year Celebration
Brief description of event: Free dry camping in the beautiful Kawarthas in Southern Ontario, lots of fun for Gear heads and Vintage Trailer owners. The only charges are $12.00 for a catered dinner Saturday Night and $50.00 for the races. Free access to paddocks, cars, infield, 11 vintage car clubs, formula one cars, formula 5000, Can-Am, Trans Am, Mini Racers (Fiats, Real-Minis not Faux-BMW), vintage motorbikes and lots of eye candy.

Vintage Camper Show – Port Crescent State Park
Brief Description of event: Campers will display their vintage campers during their stay at the State Park.

Number of units limited to: No limit, however we only have 142 campsites and reservations are required and will be somewhat limited for that time of year.

The Blue Ridge Parkway’s 75 th Anniversary 1935-2010
Brief Description of Event: The Blue Ridge Region will host a year-long celebration and commemoration in 2010 marking the Parkway’s 75 th Anniversary with Educational Symposia, over 200 activities and festivals in surrounding communities, and a multi-day, multi-venue festival staged in and around Cumberland Knob, NC- where Parkway construction began- on September 10-12, 2010. With this in mind BRP 75, Inc. purposes to have an interpretive event featuring antique trailers and camping equipment in the Picnic Area at Cumberland Knob. We would develop signage and interpretive exhibits featuring some historic photos of early camping units on the Parkway and visitors could walk and maybe drive through the sites and visit the units and talk with the owners about their units.

Third Annual California Regional Gathering
Brief Description of Event: Thirty sites on the American River at the Coloma Resort. There are accommodations for 85 units if needed. Coloma is located near the famous Sutter’s Mine and panning for gold is available to attendees. The setting is perfect and the fun is beyond that.
