Summer Vintage RV Gathering Opportunity

Summer vintage RV gathering opportunity

Here is an opportunity for vintage trailer – (and housecar) owners to participate in the celebration of the centennial of the RV industry. The Good Sam Club is hosting “THE RALLY” at Louisville, KY, this July. THE RALLY is the country’s largest RV Rally with up to 4-5,000 rigs expected. They have requested Al Hesselbart, historian for the RV/MH Hall of Fame and TCT Hall of Fame member, to assemble a live-in display of vintage units as the featured display at the KY Fairgrounds and Exhibition Center from July 19 – 25. The hope is to have the vintage display ready to welcome participants as they arrive for the Rally starting July 20. For more detail on the event see www.therally.com.

Up to 20 units can be accommodated and will be provided with hard surface parking and electricity as well as free participation in all events at “THE RALLY”. Emphasis will be given to earlier units (30s, 40s, and 50s) but all ages will be considered and will be limited to 20 units. Participants will be able to stay at the event in their units or go to local hotels at their option. The value of the services offered to participants in the live in display exceeds $350.00

Any owners interested in participating in the century of RVs celebration should contact Al Hesselbart at the Hall of Fame 800-378-8694 or e-mail rvmhhall@aol.com, to apply for consideration for participation. Please use “Louisville Rally” in the e-mail subject line.
