- I didn’t know if you knew about this place. If you take the more scenic byway drive (m-26) on our way from Baraga to Copper Harbor you’ll pass by the Jam Pot. It’s a local favorite and often they sell out by early afternoon. I’m not sure what the parking is like because they’ve expanded since I was there last time but I was going to call them and see or check google earth. They make the largest and best muffins I’ve ever had ! – Amy

- If anyone is still hungry after the trip and while at Burt Lake, the town of Brutus, MI is home to THE BEST breakfast in the area!! Brutus Camp Deli, 4086 Highway 31, Brutus MI, 231-529-2222. Great T-Shirts also. (only 13 miles from Burt Lake)
- There is program on Tuesday Aug 11 at the Michigan Dark Sky Park that maybe of interest to people on our Caravan that have the time to stay to see it. It’s a meteor shower that night and the Dark Sky Park has a program that should be fun.
