VINTAGE CAMPER ORGANIZATION
RETURNS FULL STRENGTH WITH
SEPTEMBER GATHERING AT SAMPSON
Romulus, N. Y. – The Tin Can Tourists will showcase vintage camping trailers from every corner of its Northeast Region this September at Sampson State Park. The 15th annual Northeast Rally will feature nearly 100 campers in two loops of the former Navy and Air Force training site, September 15-18, 2022.
Tin Can Tourists was formed in 1919 to “unite fraternally all autocampers,” and today the organization holds rallies across the country for camping trailer enthusiasts to gather, socialize, and show their campers. The public is invited to a free open house on Saturday, September 17, from 11:00 a. m. to 3:00 p. m. Visitors can check out the interiors of a wide variety of makes and models and reminisce with the owners as they walk through the display of “rolling history.” The Jubilee Food Trailer will also be there Saturday.
Although entries for the rally itself are sold out for this year, visit
