Tin Can Tourists Panama City Beach Vintage Trailer Rally

April 27 @ 3:00 pm - April 30 @ 1:00 pm

2017 PCB TCT Rally UPDATE:

Unfortunately St Andrews State Park will NOT hold sites for our group. Unless we move our rally between Thanksgiving and the first of February which we will not do! So it looks as if we will have to book just like we have in the past and fight for spots with the general public. It is too late to find another park at this time as we have to schedule at least a year in advance. Here is the process many of us used last year:

FL State Parks only allow you to book 11 months in advance, and 11 …months to the day you can book an additional 2 weeks, so….. Some of us are booking two solid weeks in order to book the farthest in advance to secure the actual dates we want.

For Example, our official rally dates are April 27th-30th 2017 and I want to camp for a full week of April 25-May 2nd

I will just booked TODAY (May 18th 2016) for a full two weeks that include those dates (April 18th-May 2nd 2017)

Once a few weeks pass by I will then be able to cancel the extra week for about a $14~ Fee……Otherwise I would have to wait another full week and take the chance that more spots will be reserved for a full two weeks and sell out. This park does sell out that fast!

In the mean time I will start working on the 2018 FL Spring Rally and see if I can find another State Park near by that can hold all of us!

Once you make your RSVP for the PCB 2017 Rally, Please send me an email to HeintzDesigns@aol.com with:

Any Guest(s):
Year/Make/Model of trailer:
Email address:

as well as your date of arrival to the park:

We may not have an open house to the public next year, but rather a ‘closed’ open house which we have done at other rallies where all our members walk around to see each others trailers together.

Please forward this email to anyone else you may know that is interested in this rally. Also if you book a RSVP and you are unable to attend the rally please contact me first so I can notify the next person on the waiting list that will pay you for your spot!

Official Tin Can Tourists Rallies

The qualifications for a listing as an official TCT Gathering the following guidelines are:

  1. The Gathering is hosted by a Regional Representative or an active TCT member
  2. The rally will adhere to the TCT Guiding principles of “clean camps, friendliness among campers, decent behavior and to secure plenty of clean, wholesome entertainment for those in the camp”
  3. TCT membership is a requirement for attendance. Membership requirements must be clearly stated and collection of the Tin Can Tourists membership fee must be part of the rally registration process.
  4. The Regional Representative will be the clearing house for area events and recommend events that they feel meet the guidelines for the Official designation. The Regional Representative should be kept informed about the events overall organization.
  5. Concourses will be limited to the Annual Gathering and Regional Rallies. TCT purchases the awards and provides some judging guidelines and wants to keep such awards “special” by limiting the number of such events. It is up to the Regional Representative as to whether they want to provide a concours for attendees. Each geographical area is unique and the Regional Representative is best suited to decide if such an activity is to be provided.

tim,I would like to be included in this gathering, when do you need my payment?do I get my discount at the park with my disabled vet pass or do I need to work that out with the park?

  • Dianna and Bill Brennan

Hello please include Bill and Dianna Brennan for the rally. How and when do we pay the ten bucks to Tin Can and do we book our sites direct with the state park. I know Florida residents who are over 65(I think) get a discount.

I am interested in the 2018 PCB Vintage Trailer Rally. Please advise dates and location so I can reserve a spot 11 months in advance.

I wonder if you are familiar with Eufaula AL and the campgrounds there. White Oaks is a beautiful lakeside campground as well as Lakeside . The town has a pilgrimage usually the first week in April with several old homes open for tour. The azaleas and flowers are in bloom and it’s a beautiful quaint town. A step back in time. But as I said campsites are amazing and the facilities so clean. The vintage trailers might just add another draw to their Pilgrimage and who knows they might even make an exception to the rule where campsite booking is concerned if it benefited the event. Just a thought. You can check out the town on my blog if you would like or go to their website.
