I have 2 1972 Boles Aero in good outside conditions. 1 is 31’ long and i started the demo but did not finish. Good body, towable, electric jack. 2nd on is 24’ long, also nice body. Everything seems to be working. I was going to turn them into a little compound. The large one being kitchen, dining room and bathroom and the small one 2 bedrooms. Offering this 1955 Airstream Bubble, California-built Whale Tail model for sale. This trailer is Serial #226, which makes it the 25th Airstream Bubble built. With less than 300 Bubbles ever produced from 1955-1958, this is one of the rarest Airstream models. History & Details: Built in the California factory, this is the iconic Whale Tail rear end. Sometime in its life it was converted to a commercial vending trailer, which is why the interior was gutted. Miraculously, all of the original cast aluminum wall sconces survived and are still mounted in the trailer. This style of aluminum wall sconces have never been seen used in another Airstream. They are completely unique to this early California Bubble. Condition: Let's be transparent - this is a major project trailer. The frame is in very rough condition and will need to be rebuilt / replaced. The floor is currently diamond plate from its vending days over a compromised frame.
