1956 Safeway Trailer Sales Co., built in North Bend, Nebraska. The Safeway company built trailers for only a short time, and though the brand is less well known, it is rare and a real collector's prize! From tongue to tail, this sweet vintage trailer home measures 35' and is 8' wide, so can be towed by a standard pick-up that can handle the weight (trailer weight is unknown). The trailer has been well taken care of and protected, and has been parked in the same level spot and covered since the mid 1970s. It has the original Coleman furnace, Preway gas stove, and water heater. It has two small bedrooms (needs beds), original flooring in good shape, no apparent leaks in the roof, original full bathroom with small porcelain tub, sink, and toilet. All screens, doors, windows, closet doors, original cupboards are intact and in good condition. There are no major mechanical or body problems, but as the trailer has been out of use for some time, it may need new tires (however, the current tires do hold air), and the original appliances likely need to be serviced. It has a clear title. Original "operator's manual" for the trailer as well as the furnace are included. This is a livable trailer in its current condition, and could be used as a cowboy or sheep camp, or renovated into an adorable vintage tiny home or in-law unit or primary residence. Asking $6,500, offers considered.
