More Information

Selling my 1963 Shasta Canned-Ham travel trailer which has been renovated and customized into the perfect, bare-slate, additional bedroom. For the last year the trailer was used as a ‘mother-in-law’ room tacked onto my home, but it remains completely tow-able as a weekend camper. It is being sold now because my family no longer needs the extra space and it has become difficult to personally move. Buyer must pick up or arrange delivery of the trailer.

Original redwood paneling from California.
All original hardware is in good condition.
Insulated for the hot and cold seasons.
6’ 2” ceiling height.
Lots of natural light.
Compact design with plenty of storage.

Minor dents in front and back corners of exterior aluminum paneling.
No built-in breaks on wheels.

Exterior: Original emblems, badges, signal lights, vents and window trim all refinished. The paint was altered to be two-toned brushed aluminum with the original stripe in dark red. The skylight was updated with a larger, UV-resistant model; all windows are original and have been resealed and painted to match.

Interior: Original wardrobe, cabinets, shelves, power breaker, outlets and lights all refinished. The original kitchenette was nonfunctional and so was replaced with bookshelves, cubbies and a wrap-around desk; which has a 'hidden' pocket for record-players. The flooring was replaced with insulated cork tiles. The bedframe has increased storage; best fits twin xl or double mattresses.
