Working Davis Stove/Fridge Combo
The unit was pulled from a 1958 Flying Cloud and is in good condition for it’s age.
It’s been in storage and forgot about it until we moved some other items that were also being stored.
Stove is LP Gas. Refrigerator is 110V. I plugged in the fridge and the compartment got cold in 20 minutes.
It makes some noise while running. But it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Just makes noise when it runs.
I would have a service technician (hopefully over the age of 20) check out the compressor etc. And also replace the cord.
The stove is enameled and is very good condition. It’s not perfect and has one or two very small chips.
Chrome is excellent. The four stove knobs are very good with oxidation on the metal inserts.
The refrigerator is painted inside and out. It was never enameled so it can be restored (repainted) rather easily.
Inside on bottom there are two areas of minimal surface rust and on the door shelf bottoms.
Has a small freezer compartment and on the door is “Airstream’ in script. These units were made for Airstream.
The unit can be separated but the attachment screws are rather difficult to access.
I’d rate the unit as working, easily restorable and usable as is.
Look at the pics closely. I cleaned the unit but it could use a deep in the rear compressor compartment.
