More Information

The Westcraft Travel Trailer Company made the Westwood Coronado Travel Trailer for 3 years: 1947, 1948 and 1949. These trailers were manufactured in Los Angeles. These are very desirable trailers, which are becoming harder to find. It has riveted aluminum construction. The trailer requires complete restoration. This is a very desirable trailer when restored.
The trailer is 24 ft. The exterior of the trailer and belly pan are in very good condition. There are a couple of minor dents on the exterior, which can easily be repaired.
The interior needs to be redone. The wood needs to be sanded and refinished. The floor feels solid. The worse area is the roof where it has leaked by the vents. The ceiling wood requires replacement. Also the passenger side wood beneath the window is damaged due to water leaking, which would need replacement. It still has the original heater, stove with oven, double sink, and water heater. It has a bathroom, which we think is not original. We were told that it may have been a dealer install. The drop down table is still there. The linoleum flooring has been removed. The original window frames need to be rebuilt. The passenger side windows were replaced with jalousie windows by the previous owner.

We towed the trailer home. It towed very well. It could be towed to a new location with new tires. It has a clean title.
