Meet Maisie Mae! This sweet little 13.5' (including tongue) CANNED HAM trailer has original everything other than new exterior paint and new flooring. I bought the trailer 9 years ago and loved that no one had painted the walls or removed the original cupboards, sink or stove to create a different look. I have really enjoyed her - she will get a lot of interest anywhere you go. In addition to electric lighting, it has a gas furnace (that I've never tried to use), two gas lamps which both work, a gas stove which works fine, and a refrigerator that ran on both electric and gas. The refrigerator no longer works so I use it as an icebox. All the electrics work except for the ceiling light and the light over the table. I've installed a new light over the table and have never missed the ceiling light. There are no leaks, however there is damage to the birch paneling due to inside condensation when it was lived in over a couple of winters. There's lots of storage space given the size of the trailer. It has its original screen door and comes with an awning. The trailer pulls like a dream and the tires and wheel bearings are in good shape. Maisie Mae has lots of good traveling years left to spend with someone!
*The trailer's original title was lost and when it was reissued they estimated it as a 1972. I researched Detroiter travel trailers and found that they only made small travel trailers in the mid to late 60's so I "assigned it a birth year" of 1968.
