1969 2-door 16 ft. Blazon vintage trailer completely rebuilt from the frame up in 2019. Much of the original wood framing was replaced, with new insulation added and all new birch paneling throughout. All new custom made birch cabinetry and doors. All new wiring, plumbing, and gas-lines. New LED lighting inside and out, including running lights and tear-drop marker lights. Original overhead bunk-bed in front was replaced with a bank of large cabinets for increased storage. Comfortable sofa converts to Gaucho bed 7 ft. long and 4 ft. wide. Banquette converts to a shorter 72” x 36” bed. Original Wedgewood stove remains as do the original kitchen and bathroom stainless steel sinks. All appliances were purchased new in 2019. Upgrades include:
• New 3-way Dometic refrigerator (AC electric, battery and propane)
• New Suburban On-Demand water heater
• New Suburban furnace
• New AC and microwave added
• All new tanks, including gray water (not installed in original equipment)
• New toilet and shower
• Heavy duty springs and axle were totally reconditioned with new electric drum brakes
• New radial tires with alloy wheels
• New vintage style acrylic awning
• All new upholstery with Tommy Bahama (Sunbrella) fabric
• Custom paint job on the outside, and inside on the dinette table top and drawer facings (courtesy of my artist wife)
Trailer dry weight is 3500 lbs and it pulls nicely with a mid-size SUV. It has a ton of storage for a trailer.
