This is a 1982 air cooled Vanagon Westfalia - a beautiful example of a true classic with a clean title and low miles. I purchased the vehicle from the previous owner who had it garage kept for 15 years. While in my possession, the vehicle spent the winter garaged and not exposed to salt roads.
The body is in great shape with very minor imperfections. One small spot of rust in the drivers foot well, I have the replacement panel to correct this also. The vehicle has G Techniq ultra ceramic coating -the hardest compound on the market- by professional installers.
The vehicle has been gone through by a local VW specialist and has a clean bill of health. The 4cyl air cooled motor runs and starts with the usual minor oil leaks. I have personally taken it on over 3 hour trips and it drives like an air cooled bus should - slow and steady. However being that it has over 106k on the original motor it could use a refresh and some cyl's are lower in compression than others. I also have the service history from the previous owner who spared no expense. Examples of repairs include: steering rack, oil cooler, ignition replacement, oil temp gauge installed, OE tent replacement, etc. There's too many things to list that have been gone through during my ownership.
