We bought this trailer with some property we purchased in the summer of 2021 so I really have no idea if 1949 is the correct date...surfed the web to get an idea but it (might be one of a kind...)
From the looks of the outside, it will need to be taken to its next home on a flatbed. The tires are shot and the receiver on the tongue looks a little bent up. That being said, it has a swamp cooler attached to the roof (which leaked with our last rainstorm.)
Original Frigidaire refrigerator, sink, cabinets and countertop. No cook stove. The bathroom is adorable with the red wall "tiles" and original tiny bathtub, toilet and sink, believed to be either porcelain or ceramic? We had originally thought of doing an Airbnb with it but just don't have the time or money to fix it up. Most of the wood interior (birch?) is intact and the previous owner had made it into a little workshop so the front living space would need to be reconfigured. That's also where the cooler leaked so I wouldn't trust walking on the floor. The hallway also has a cute little pocket door and the doorbell by the sign outside actually WORKS! If only the walls could talk in this beauty-in-the-rough!! 🙂
