More Information

This is a very rare camper – the first fiberglass pop-up camper produced for sale. It’s unique looking and gets plenty of attention and interest wherever it goes – it’s a great conversation piece! One of 12 know to be still around today!
I repaired the most of the pitting in the fiberglass and re-painted it with a marine primer and several coats of marine paint. I rebuilt the drawer bed as much of that wood had rotted due to a design flaw that let water penetrate the edges pretty easily. I also attempted to correct this flaw – time will tell! I also replaced the wood in the roof as water had penetrated through the screw holes and lightly rotted some portions of that.
I rebuilt the manual pump kitchen faucet, rebuilt the windows and added a 12v system of lights and usb chargers. I rebuilt the cubbies above the beds and installed a trunk liner carpet on the ceiling. All of the canvas is original and in surprisingly good condition, although it shows wear and age. (great template to have a new one made) I repaired some of the snaps as well as adding all new body snaps. It also comes with the optional front screen section to use instead of the solid canvas section. This screen section is in excellent condition – it was probably rarely used.
The camper is 10’7” plus 2’3” for the tongue and water tank long by 6’9” wide by 4’ tall when closed (6’3” standing room inside when open) It weighs 1100# empty. I have an original brochure which I laminated to preserve it.
