Own a piece of history. This 1936 Kozy Kamp tent, trailer, manufactured in Portland Oregon, was the first hard top pop up.
All steel and well-maintained. There is some crinkling to the front wall that does not affect the integrity or towability of the trailer. I’m not sure if the paint is original, but it is decades-old to be sure. It has the original orange lacquer on the inside.
One person can pop this trailer up and take it down in less than two minutes (see original brochure page).
Original springs in one original mattress.
The vinyl cover is beginning to separate along the edges and will need some attention or replacement, but it is usable now in dry camping or light rain.
As you can see from the pictures, the canvas is in great shape.
All the specs are in the photo of the original brochure page.
2 inch ball and flat for connector for running lights, which work great.
I use my Jackery for in-house 12 V lighting and power.
The trailer has permanent, mounted jacks on all four corners that drop down to stabilize the trailer.
There is a window at the front with privacy pop in canvas and the screen window in the rear wooden door with a drop-down step.
I have on this tent trailer for 10 years and I’ve had it on many wonderful camping trips. Now it’s time for a new owner to give it some more memories.
Clean California title and current vintage PTI license plate.
