Up for sale is a 1966 Shasta Airflyte 2 wheel vintage tincan charmer.
Specs: Dry weight is 2100 lbs but probably lighter having removed the old heavy fridge and one of the lofts. The camper is 17 ft long and 7.8 ft wide. VIN P9723 The dining booth area is easily converted into a wide single bed. The rear full bed converts into a couch and the rear storage loft can be pushed back on hinges to open the top of the seating area. The windows are all functional crank louvre windows, awesome for keeping water out and the cross breeze in and it still has the OG Shasta wings!
Improvements and Modifications: Electric updated for a pendulum light above the table. There are two other functional lights with outlets attached. The retro style fridge is new model. The front windows have been sealed and trimmed, the camper interior painted and corner water damage repaired. All exterior seams and most windows have been sealed with calking and aluminum tape. The small closet area was made into a raw edge wood coffee bar/ pantry/ storage area and the couch and booth seat cushions were were reupholstered.
Original gold speckled countertops, stove and sink and modular structure. The stove has not been tested. The water tank has not been hooked up or replaced.
