1973 Lark, Model LS
Serial#: 6LS 1069A
15' L, 8' W
Weight: 2250lbs
We have owned this super fun Lark for 2 years and have made it comfortable and habitable. There is still plenty of work that could be done to restore it to the original beauty, but she is waterproof and a perfect space for your backyard or camping abode.
Lots of the original features, including working range, table, countertops, shower and cushions.
This lightweight camper(we towed it with our Subaru Outback) is a rare find with a full bathroom.
We have done the following:
- All new PEX plumbing
- Tankless water heater (needs repair after last winter frost)
- Exterior paint
- Roof sealed and painted
-All electrical works
-New toilet
-New faucets and shower trims
-New tires (2022)
-New exterior hose bib for water supply.
The main bed area can come with an 8” foam mattress to make a more comfortable bed. The dining area can fold down to make a bed and there is a bed above the dining area.
The black water tank and grey water hose was set up to empty directly into our main septic system. Since we bought it, it has been stationary at our house. Right now the black water tank has a shut off valve and you can decide how to outfit the grey water.
There are visible signs of prior water damage on some walls and ceiling. We purchased it like this and focused on making it weatherproof, not repairing the damage. Therefore we have not opened up the walls to rebuild.
I'm happy to send additional photos and videos.
