This is a Peerless brand heater. These old school heaters were used in the 1950-60s before 12volt systems became common in campers and trailers. These are great for long hours of heat requirement when you don't want to run down your battery, or if your vintage RV doesn't have a 12V system. They seem to just sip at the propane. They use a copper bulb thermostat (included and tested) generally mounted right below the heater, so the thermostat setting can be set to turn off the heater when solar heats up the camper during the day. Rough opening width 15", RO height 17", cabinet face to rear of housing box 7", side of housing box to exterior face of exhaust flange 3 1/2". 6300 BTU. These are very much old-school cool and quite effective, and can even be installed as a secondary heater in a newer RVs to save your battery from a forced air furnace at hunting camp, for example. Match light (BBQ lighter), this one has been gone through and works quite nicely. I pulled it out of an old 1960s truck camper that had way too much wood rot to save, gave it its just due, and saved it for a future project. Now, age, health and no foreseeable future projects force me to clear out my excess RV parts supply.
