RARE 1963 ACE CAMPER
ACE campers were made in Alfred Maine. This particular model is the ACE of Hearts. They are very rare and sought after.
The exterior and some of the interior (new floor, refrigerator) were rehabed at Maine Vintage Campers in Alfred, Maine.
The interior of this camper is beautiful turquoise metal. The pull out sofa turns into a double bed, and the kitchen table folds down to make a single bed.
There is no bathroom, but a small closet with room for a porta pottie.
I rehabed the inside, including all new cushions, upholstery, curtains, and I primed and painted the cabinets.
I have owned the camper for 2 years. There have been no leaks, and windows and screens are intact. Small propane heater, propane stove and new refrigerator all works. Electricity works. I have not tried the propane lantern. It does not look original.
