All-original, mostly untouched 1954 Jewel "Canned Ham" travel trailer. A great restoration candidate with almost all original components. The title and permanent tags (no registration costs!) are included in the sale. Brand-new tires were installed just two months ago. I purchased this with the intention of doing a full restoration but no longer have the time to work on it.
The all-original interior is intact, and the wood cabinets and shelves appear to be solid. While the veneer is complete, approximately 10% of it has delaminated. There are some stains along the ceiling, but we have not observed any dripping water or moisture during rainy periods. The wood above the bed (see photo) is delaminated and will need to be replaced. As is typical for a full restoration, the fabric (seats, curtains) will also need replacement.
The glass is mostly intact, but all the windows are in their original condition and will need to be resealed.
It is untouched as mentioned and in fair shape, but will need a restoration.
The hitch is in good condition, with no cracks in the welds or deformation of the metal. The ball lock is loose but still closes.
