Beautiful vintage 1973 Airstream Land Yacht Ambassador looking for its next owner and next chapter.
This is an exceptionally charming vintage Airstream with much of its original character intact, along with beautiful wood flooring and a comfortable interior that can genuinely be enjoyed as it sits. We have stayed in it ourselves and have had guests stay in it many times.
It would make an incredible restoration project, guest cottage, creative studio, office, tiny home, retreat space, Airbnb-style accommodation where permitted, or vintage camper for someone prepared to address the items necessary for travel.
Known features and condition: new tires installed in 2023; lights, refrigerator and water heater are operational; television works and can be included; two propane tanks included; beautiful wood flooring; substantial original vintage interior features and cabinetry; and the exterior aluminum shell retains that unmistakable classic Airstream character.
The rooftop A/C is not currently operational. The stove and oven have not been tested because we have not used the propane system, and the condition of the propane tanks/lines should therefore be considered unknown until inspected. Water lines need replacement.
There is also rear floor separation/structural concern and age-related corrosion underneath, as shown in the photographs. We want prospective buyers to know exactly what they are considering. Being sold as-is with enormous potential.
