If you know travel trailers, you know that the Spartan name carries with it a long tradition of excellence in design and construction. Based on aircraft manufacturing principles of aerodynamic styling, strength, and lightweight design and manufacturing, the first Spartan trailers were manufactured in 1946 as a solution to the housing shortage after World War II. This second generation of Spartan was manufactured by TemTex Leisure Products to even higher standards of construction.

In 2017, “Spartacus” underwent a huge transformation, bringing him in to the 21st Century. He was taken down to and rebuilt from the frame up — the only thing original is the outer aluminum shell! He’s basically a brand new trailer inside with all new electrical and plumbing systems, flooring, walls, cabinets, and most fixtures.

Spartacus is considered a “park model” trailer, meaning he must be connected to power, water and septic in order to be used. No roughing it in the wild for him. He would be perfect for traveling from park to part, or better yet as a stationary mother-in-law suite or Airbnb unit. He would also be perfect for full-time living in a park.

The interior of Spartacus was directed by and designed by the award-winning team behind Wanderlust Palm Springs. The goal was to create a space that feels fresh, but with a nod to the glitz and glam of the 70s when Spartacus first rolled off the production line.
