2016 Tin Can Tourists’ North Florida Summer Campout! I know it is a very hot time of year but Mariana (Florida) Caverns is all shaded, has a cold spring to swim at, and the cavern tours are nice and cool as well so I can’t think of a better place here in Hot FL to camp. https://www.floridastateparks.org/park/Florida-Caverns . Also all sites in the Campground are only $20 a night for full hook ups ($10.00 per night if a FL Senior) and the campsites are FULL HOOK UPS. Dates for this campout is August 25-28 (Th-Sun). This will just be a campout with no set schedule except an optional park Cave Tour sometime on Saturday (if we have at least 25 people that want to go on the tour we get 50% off the normal $8 rate) This park offers the only deep underground walking cavern tours in the state and it is nice and cool in the caves!
