Antique Automobile Club of America’s Region in Northern Virginia
September 17, 2016
We are the Antique Automobile Club of America’s Region in Northern Virginia. Bull Run Region, AACA. We collect, display, restore and preserve antique and classic cars in original condition without modifications that are over 25 years including cars, trucks, motorcycles , campers and race cars. Anything that was built as a drivable vehicle. We meet monthly with a feature speaker and hold 3-4 driving events a year plus an annual car show. Plus there are 15 or so national car shows and tours.
We would like to showcase travel trailers at our annual antique car show on 17 Sept. It is held at the Manassas Museum in downtown Manassas, VA and we have a very nice paved parking area just off the side of the car show grass field where we could display 3-5 trailers. Show is on a Sat, rain or shine, and usually draws 150-175 cars plus a lot of spectators from a local festival held in Manassas on the same day. A really great event. Last year we had a display of 4 GM motor homes and that was very well received.
Please pass my contact info to anyone who might be interested
We will treat trailer owners to lunch. We have a very good plan working with the 29Diner who is serving barbecue at the show.
One day show with no options to camp.
We would like you to be on the field no later than 10Am and stay till ending ceremony at 3PM.
We would like the trailers to be antique by our standards which is 25 years or older. There is a nice parking lot on the side of the grass field where we would park them and they could handle just about anything. We just need to know so the Show Field Manager can layout exactly where they will be and what is needed.
