CANCELLED – Blast from the Past

March 26, 2020 March 29, 2020

This year our theme is a retro Tiki Party, so dig out that Hawaiian shirt, grab a few leis, and pick up some Tiki glasses or mugs (Target has them!) You do not need to be a TCT member and all SWTCT events are pet friendly and open to all camper rigs regardless of make, model, or year.
SWTCT has reserved a private campground for the weekend with 70 sites available. All spots are back in with water and electric and all but a few have sewer. The campground is minutes from Joshua Tree National Park, fabulous 4WD trails, a ghost town, and short jaunts to Palm Springs and other attractions. A Thursday Meet and Greet with a movie, a catered dinner Friday, a potluck Saturday, and Sunday morning coffee and donuts will be offered inside the large dining hall.
A Saturday morning a private swap meet, craft sale, and trailer tours will be from 8-1. Saturday night awards will be presented for best large/tiny decorated trailer and best male/female tropical attire for outfits worn to the luau themed potluck dinner.
The event fee is $10 and T shirts cost $15 each. The rally fee is $120 for 3 nights camping and one catered meal ticket. Extra meal tickets are $15 each and extra nights camping are $35, the cheapest in the Molina Basin.

  1. Gail, thanks for all you do buy I must say. Lesson learned for me on this one. Will never send money for a sight unseen camping venue again, with a non-refundable payment deadline posted before the reveal. Not going for other reasons beyond my control, but had I known this place was going to be the venue for this event I would have not signed up and would definitely been miffed after a five hour drive from AZ to camp in a dirt parking lot!! Me thinks, if people had known about the venue, there would have been fewer sign-ups. The deadline for refunds was March 1st and the reveal was posted March 3rd………..Not cool!!
