SUMMARY:2022 Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally
DESCRIPTION:We imagine that\, like us\, many of you are starting to mark off your calendars for vintage camping and other adventures in 2022. We are excited to give you this update on our First Annual (we hope) Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally to be held June 2-5\, 2022\, at the Ozark Outdoors Resort near Leasburg Missouri. \n\n\n\nWe have set up a Facebook page under Missouri Loves Company where we will be posting additional information about the Rally as developments occur. Please check it periodically for updates. \n\n\n\nIn case you haven’t seen the news on our Facebook Page\, Ozark Outdoor Resorts has just released its rates for 2022 so IT IS TIME TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT for the first ever Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally in Leasburg Mo. The dates are June 2-5 (arrive Thursday\, depart Sunday). We have blocked a total of 20 contiguous sites for the rally group. They are sites 1612-1622 and 1512-1521. To reserve your site please call the resort at 573 245-6837.   7 of the sites are already reserved so do not delay. The sites are currently reserved under Kathy and Bob West. When you call\, they will switch your site to your name. We have learned that there was a recent change of ownership and so sometimes they seem a little confused. If you have any trouble\, feel free to call us and we will try to help.     \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in making reservations for floating the river\, you may want to do so now.        \n\n\n\nIN ORDER TO BE SURE YOUR SITE IS WITH THE RALLY GROUP YOU MUST MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE MARCH 10\, 2022\, SO DO NOT DELAY.  The cost for each site is $152.08 for the 3 nights. There will also be a rally fee of $20.00 per site which we will collect at the rally. If you wish to pay it sooner feel free to mail us a check payable to Bob and Kathy West. Send it to 18207 Sheerin Road\, Pacific MO 63069. \n\n\n\nWe plan to provide coffee and donuts Friday and Saturday morning. We are working on the logistics for a potluck dinner Saturday night. Hot dogs and condiments will be provided. Bring something to share. Covid permitting\, we plan to have an open house Saturday from noon to 4PM for those who wish to participate. We do not plan to advertise this outside of the park\, but we anticipate that we will get visits from other interested campers. Participation is voluntary. If you do not wish to have visitors\, simply post a “closed” sign on your camper. \n\n\n\nWe are excited to see all of our vintage camper friends and to make new ones again this year. SUMMARY:2022 West Michigan Vintage Gathering
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again! Make your reservations to attend the Vintage Gathering at beautiful PJ Hoffmaster State Park!  \n\n\n\nThis year’s event will begin on Thursday June 2nd through Sunday the 5th. Reservations can be made starting on December 2nd using the group hold code on the State Parks website. You must have an account to log in and book a site. The rally will be held in the back loop again (sites 1-132). This year’s rally will be very much like last year’s\, no provided meals or entertainment\, also no rally fee! Just book your site and show up to camp with friends! There will be an open house on Saturday if you choose to participate\, other than that enjoy the beach\, Muskegon\, and your fellow campers! SUMMARY:2022 Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. Join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nLast year the park set aside 30 sites for us and we ended up with 44 attending. In 2022\, they are setting aside 40 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get you camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe group hold code expired at the end of February – so now you’ll need to just get a site the old fashioned way and try to get as close as possible to the group. As of 3/2/22 there were still about 6 sites in the general area (138\, 139\, 141\, 147\, 159\, 161) \n\n\n\n136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Cornhole Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for packaged TCT coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for cornhole tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n2pm – Cornhole Tournament – prizes for the winning team! Raffles of items from the community and campground – There is a $25 gift card to Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant which is just down the road from the park; two buy one get one free pizza certificates from BC Pizza and one get a free pizza from BC which is on the corner of M 115 and M55; a $20 certificate from a coffee shop which is in the plaza on the corner of M 115 and M 55. They have some baked good and other things besides coffee.  Also a few trinkets from the campground gift shop.6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. Bring a beverage and we will have snacks at the pavilion. Find a spot for the musical program.7pm – Musical program Friday night\, June 10 at 7:00.  The program will be outside at the pavilion at the visitors’ center.  Bring a chair or blanket. Giving tours\, telling people about camping\, introducing children to vintage trailers and having a great time.
