DESCRIPTION:Please join us for the annual Vintage Camper Show on the grounds of the spectacular Gilmore Car Museum!!! The museum itself is the largest car museum in North America\, a second to none display of the must unique\, rare and priceless collect you’ll ever experience. The grounds are maticulous with a restored vintage diner serving delicious food and homemade ice cream. There is judging and awards for this event.  There are limited electrical sites and bathrooms (no showers) open 24 hours.  \nThis is a one day event but most of us camp for the weekend.

DESCRIPTION:The Annual Gathering Rally of the Tin Can Tourists is the oldest\, longest running vintage trailer rally in the country. This event has always been held the weekend before Memorial Day.\n\n\n\nYou must be a current Tin Can Tourists member to attend this event. We are only accepting electronic payments in 2025. The area consists of Sites – 45 to 54 – these sites are restricted for trailers that have features that make them flammable. SUMMARY:2025 5th Annual Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. We are getting 64 sites for 2025\, you can see which sites are park of the group hold below. The park loves having us and are really supportive of the event\, including the friends of the park who help sponsor the musical performance on Friday night. \n\n\n\nThis event is always held the 2nd full weekend of June which can sometimes end on Father’s day.  \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nTrailer Open House is Saturday June 14th from Noon to 3pm and the public is invited to tour the trailers that are open! \n\n\n\n2025 Lumberjack RallyDownload\n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\n2025 Lumberjack Rally Registration Instructions: \n\n\n\nUse the Michigan State Park Reservation website (https://midnrreservations.com) or call them. Make sure you log into the website and the first page will have a link “Reserve Group Hold”\, click on it and use “TinCan2025” – this will take you to the campground and show you all of the sites blocked off for us. Reserve your site of your choice and then send an email to tct1919@gmail.com to let us know what site you reserved! TWO SIMPLE STEPS\, don’t forget the last one!   \n\n\n\nYou must be a TCT Member to attend this event. Any questions\, please ask. \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Molkky Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. DESCRIPTION:The 2025 Lincoln Trail State Park Vintage Trailer Rally is scheduled for June 19-22\, 2025. This will be our 8th annual rally\, and it promises to be a great time for vintage trailer enthusiasts.\n\nThe rally will be held at Lincoln Trail State Park in Marshall\, Illinois. The park offers a variety of activities for visitors\, including hiking\, fishing\, and swimming. There is also a campground with full hookups available for vintage trailers.\n\nThe rally will include a variety of activities\, including a potluck dinner\, a vintage trailer show\,\, tech secession\, attendance gifts\, and even a band concert\, and more. Please do not share the registration link with friends\, you are taking away opportunities from our TCT members. That is the purpose of the rally. If you want to camp with personal friends\, you can do that any weekend. If you have friends that want to camp with us during the rally\, just have them join the club – it really is that simple. \n\n\n\nWagener County Park staff love having us at their beautiful park on Lake Huron and have invited us back in 2025.  \n\n\n\nRegistration Process:  \n\n\n\nRegistration will open on November 2nd\, 2024. DESCRIPTION:Marysville Michigan (48040) is roughly 50 miles\nnorth of Detroit along the St. Clair River and draws fans from over 7\nsurrounding States including Ohio\, Pennsylvania and Illinois just to name a few. Being on the US border we also draw a number of Canadian\nfans to our event. We are right along the beautiful St. Clair River where we have nice camp facilities for you\, water hook up and close to town.  We are a celebration of the American Car and Pop Culture. We show close to 900 show cars\, as well as host pop culture vendors\, celebrities and live National\nmusic acts.  Along with a classic car cruise and Drive in theater\,  we also host the Miss Marysville Hot Wheels Pin up girl contest. We also host pop culture TV stars. In the past we have had Micky Dolenz\, Erik Estrada\, the cast of Dukes of Hazzard and Eddie Munster aka Butch Patrick. This year our guest is Henry Winkler. We would love to have a dozen or so of your campers. DESCRIPTION:It’s the time of year when our thoughts drift to Michigan in September and TCT’s Shadow Of The Bear Rally. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHey there!Good news and more good news about the location of this year’s rally.  Our beloved Orchard Beach State Park Campground will close the 1st of September.  The good news:  they will undertake upgrades to the bathrooms.  (Including the oldest bathroom with the teeny tiny shower.)  While we are disappointed we will miss all the wonderful that is Orchard Beach\, we are pleased to let you know we will hold our 2025 rally a bit further north and closer to the Sleeping Bear National Park. Our “more good news” is: “Welcome to Roadville’s” Timberline Campground in Benzonia\, MI will be the site of our 9th Annual Shadow Of The Bear Rally.  They have been wonderful to work with! We pair people with those that might not know and help build relationships.\n\n\n\nFriday night we would gather around for a meal\, in order to get people together. The public and attendees are invited to view the vehicles and shop at the flea market. Camp Dearborn has been holding a flea market in the morning that our participants can walk to and try to find a treasure. The Eastern Caravan will go from Illinois to Texas.  \n\n\n\nWe are an official Route 66 Centennial event recognized by the Route 66 Centennial Planning Commission. https://route66centennial.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEASTERN CARAVAN \n\n\n\nWe’ve reached the limit of 25 trailers/motorcoaches for the Eastern Caravan and booking of campgrounds is nearly complete. After the caravan participants have booked their sites\, if anyone wants to participate along the caravan route\, we will provide the campground information and they can make reservations at the same campgrounds if sites are available but that might mean a nearby campground. We will welcome all to rally with us at the final destination\, which should have ample room for everyone. We will bring extra caravan merchandise that you can buy in Amarillo.  \n\n\n\nThe Eastern Caravan will stop in these towns along the eastern part of Route 66: \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7th – Springfield\, Illinois \n\n\n\nMonday\, June 8th – Waynesville\, Missouri \n\n\n\nTuesday\, June 9th – Claremore\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 10th – Foss\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 11th – Sunday\, June 14th\, Amarillo TX – https://www.visitamarillo.com/events/route-66/\n\n\n\nReturning home will be at your pace and up to you to schedule – you could stay down in Texas for awhile with friends from the caravan\, head to a different part of the country to visit a National Park you’ve never experienced\, or rush home for work!\n\n\n\n\nThe caravans are purposely planned to be a slow pace of 200-250 and a consistent drive each day. SUMMARY:Silver Springs Campground
DESCRIPTION:The city of Stow Ohio operates Silver Springs Campground and we are celebrating our 50th year. We would like to invite 10 campers out to display their vintage campers during our Harvest Festival the weekend of September 26th. Adjacent to the campground are several historic houses that will be open to the public as well as classic cars\, vendors\, blacksmith and apple butter making. We will be using an open field at the top of the campground for the vintage camper\, it does not offer electric hook-up but a generator can be made available to anyone needing it.
