DESCRIPTION:PDF registration for this year’s SAF Rally\, July 21-24 at the Elkhart Campground\, in Elkhart\, Indiana.   \n\n\n\nSAF-Summer-Registration-2022Download\n\n\n\nAs mentioned in the introduction letter and application\, please try to have this back to me by July 1\, so I can finalize the number of sites with the campground.  In 2021\, we ended up with 30 units from across the country. As of right now\, we will be following the same safety guidelines as suggested by the State of Indiana and the CDC.  The cost for the Rally this year is $25 per person\, as indicated on the application.  This cost is to cover the cost of food\, activities and the rally room\, which is adjacent to our rally area.  A discounted camping fee of $40/nt (for two persons) will be payable directly to Elkhart Campground upon arrival only!  Please do not call the campground ahead of time to pay as they will not accept your payment. All sites are full hookups and will be assigned within our group area upon arrival at the request of Elkhart Campground. Once I receive your application\, I will add you to the attendee list and e-mail you a receipt.  I will also add you to a separate e-mail list of attendees\, so I can continue to send out details of this year’s rally as they unfold.  I have had a couple of people e-mail me with special requests.  I will try to accommodate these as best as possible.  I have asked the campground to block the six closest sites to the rally room for those with special needs.  Please make a note of this when you return your application and check so I can notify the campground.If you plan to arrive early or stay beyond the rally\, please indicate that on your form\, so I can give the campground a heads up.  I have had a lot of interest and have been assured by Elkhart Campground that we will be located together as a group.  Also\, please check with your friends who plan on coming this year to make sure they have received the application.  If this is your first time attending the rally\, please make a note on the application. DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. In 2022\, they are setting aside 40 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get you camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe group hold code expired at the end of February – so now you’ll need to just get a site the old fashioned way and try to get as close as possible to the group. As of 3/2/22 there were still about 6 sites in the general area (138\, 139\, 141\, 147\, 159\, 161) \n\n\n\n136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Cornhole Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for packaged TCT coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for cornhole tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n2pm – Cornhole Tournament – prizes for the winning team! Raffles of items from the community and campground – There is a $25 gift card to Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant which is just down the road from the park; two buy one get one free pizza certificates from BC Pizza and one get a free pizza from BC which is on the corner of M 115 and M55; a $20 certificate from a coffee shop which is in the plaza on the corner of M 115 and M 55. They have some baked good and other things besides coffee.  Also a few trinkets from the campground gift shop.6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. Bring a beverage and we will have snacks at the pavilion. We are excited to give you this update on our First Annual (we hope) Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally to be held June 2-5\, 2022\, at the Ozark Outdoors Resort near Leasburg Missouri. \n\n\n\nWe have set up a Facebook page under Missouri Loves Company where we will be posting additional information about the Rally as developments occur. Please check it periodically for updates. \n\n\n\nIn case you haven’t seen the news on our Facebook Page\, Ozark Outdoor Resorts has just released its rates for 2022 so IT IS TIME TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT for the first ever Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally in Leasburg Mo. The dates are June 2-5 (arrive Thursday\, depart Sunday). We have blocked a total of 20 contiguous sites for the rally group. They are sites 1612-1622 and 1512-1521. To reserve your site please call the resort at 573 245-6837.   7 of the sites are already reserved so do not delay. The sites are currently reserved under Kathy and Bob West. When you call\, they will switch your site to your name. We have learned that there was a recent change of ownership and so sometimes they seem a little confused. If you have any trouble\, feel free to call us and we will try to help.     \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in making reservations for floating the river\, you may want to do so now.        \n\n\n\nIN ORDER TO BE SURE YOUR SITE IS WITH THE RALLY GROUP YOU MUST MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE MARCH 10\, 2022\, SO DO NOT DELAY.  The cost for each site is $152.08 for the 3 nights. The area consists of Sites – 45 to 54 – these sites are restricted for trailers that have features that make them flammable. Examples are canvas tops\, wood sided\, etc. Sites 53-54 are held in reserve for special need attendees that might need to be close the shower/restrooms. \n\n\n\nHere are the size limits of the sites\n\n\n\nSites 1-65 up to 35 foot trailer ( electric only ) \n\n\n\nSites 66-76 up to 50 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 77-81 up to 45 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 82 to 91 up to 35 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 92 to 102 up to a 40 foot trailer  ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 103 to 122 up to a 32 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 123\,124\,125 up to about a 25 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 126 to 140 up to 32 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 141 to 161 up to 45 foot trailer ( full hook up ) \n\n\n\nSites 162 to 191 up to 32 foot trailer ( electric only )

SUMMARY:5th Annual Shadow of the Bear Rally
DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual TCT Shadow Of The Bear Rally @ Indigo Bluffs September 16th to 19th. (As always you are encouraged to arrive early and stay late.)  \n\n\n\nThe 2021 Shadow Of The Bear Rally will be a lot like the SOTB 2020 gathering. Due to COVID-19 and the Delta variant\, Open House\, Pot Lucks\, Koffee Klatches\, and group events at local restaurants have been cancelled for 2021. We look forward to their return in 2022.  \n\n\n\nFor 2021\, we will have an outside gathering area reserved for us near the pavilion. (This is a different location than 2020.) Just as in 2020\, there will be a food truck available on the campground. We would like to take our meals together in the outside gathering area. We encourage you to make your meals at your site and bring them to the common area to share time with one another. If you prefer\, the food truck will have delicious offerings for your enjoyment.  \n\n\n\nThe area surrounding Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of the most beautiful in all of America.
