Cost is all-inclusive Cost covers venue rental fees\, camping spots\, electrical and water\, RV dump\, insurance\, food and beverage items\, bathroom rentals\, etc. An itemized list will be posted at the Registration trailer. \n\n\n\nThe vision of the “Rally at the Falls 2021” event is to provide an opportunity for vintage trailer enthusiasts and friends to rally together for fun social activities and improving vintage trailer knowledge at a beautiful venue in downtown Great Falls\, Montana. The primary theme of the rally is the three “R’s” • Rescue (inspecting and transporting) • Restore (tear down\, components\, build plans\, layout\, rebuild\, finishing) • Rally (Towing\, camping\, and repairs) \n\n\n\nA “had better days” old canned ham trailer will be used for the rebuild and restore event. It will be disassembled on Friday and totally rebuilt on Saturday and Sunday. Participants can watch or can get “hand’s on” involved in the process as experienced rebuilders facilitate and guide the trailer rebuild. Key areas that will be covered and explained are electrical\, plumbing\, wood finishing interiors\, axles-bearing-brake-tires\, wood framing and insulation\, windows and vents\, metal prep and painting. There will be open Q & A throughout the build process. The vintage trailer will be sold on Tin Can Tourists and the proceeds will pay off the build materials costs and the remainder will be placed in the bank to support Rally at the Falls 2022. Venue information \n\n\n\nThe Montana Expo Park (http://www.goexpopark.com) is a multi-use facility operated by the city of Great Falls. It serves as host to the Montana State Fair which takes place just a few weeks before our scheduled rally. The city of Great Falls and the management at the Expo Park are enthusiastic supporters of the rally. \n\n\n\nThe Expo Park is a large complex made up of multiple sections. We have contracted for use of specific sections within the Expo Park for our rally. Our rally is classified as a private event versus a public event. Our camping sections are two smaller wooded parks within the complex that are set up for travel trailers and camping. The sections are called West Park and East Park. We also have Central Park that will be used for meetings\, activities and social events. We also have contracted a large building venue (Heritage building) for the vintage trailer rebuild and education event. Within our sections are multiple camping spots with electrical and water hookups. We will layout the parking within the parks to ensure all trailers has direct access to electricity. There are limited direct water hookups and we estimate (with adequate hose length) we can accommodate up to 16 parking spots that will have direct water hookup access. There are plenty of water fill points for those who just need to fill fresh water holding tanks. \n\n\n\nThere are bathroom and showers at the venue albeit slightly dated. We are contracting for additional bathroom facilities in our park sections for the rally. Showers are in an adjoining section and available. An RV septic dump site is located at the park. \n\n\n\nThere are a variety of restaurants and brew pubs located within walking distance of our venue. Activities \n\n\n\nWe want to offer a variety of options and opportunities for our friends to engage in while at the rally.
