The day is open to set up and to explore the area and enjoy the property. You are welcome to bring your fishing gear to enjoy the pond on the property. \n\n\n\nOn your own for lunch go and explore great eateries in the area! \n\n\n\nWe will have a meet and greet social later that day around 5 or 6pm where there will be a light dinner served at the gathering. Please wear your name tags. \n\n\n\n– Bonfire and Laughter \n\n\n\n-Friday June 9th from 12-4pm will be the BIG Exchange. \n\n\n\n-8am till 12pm to set up-NEW ARRIVALS CHECK IN \n\n\n\nThis is the swap or sell\, where campers can bring their camp related or vintage items that they would like to sell or could exchange with other campers. Feel free to bring your crafts as well. You may set up a table at your camper for your items for display to participate in this event. Not necessary to participate but if you are wanting to get rid of some of the collection that has been sitting around for some time this is a great way to do so and network as well. You can also sell to the public during open house if you’d like. \n\n\n\nThere will be games and music for entertainment for everyone to participate in if you’d like.. \n\n\n\n– Saturday June 10th \n\n\n\n1:00-5:00pm is when we will have an open house to the public. This will be promoted to the Douglasville community to come out to see your beautiful camper setup. \n\n\n\nThere will be food\, arts and crafts vendors available during the event. Some really great vendors have been hand picked to attend this event that will bring some good southern flair to the show. \n\n\n\n7PM- Until-Bonfire\, Chill & Relax \n\n\n\nBring your chairs and set up. One Bag per camper or tent. \n\n\n\nTent campers are welcome to camp as there will be a designated area for tent campers to set up and enjoy. \n\n\n\nPlease secure your spot by registering online and paying via cash app or zelle click link above. \n\n\n\nYou may bring your own cart or bicycle if you want to get around the property. Don’t forget your yoga mat. \n\n\n\n-Garbage Pick Up 9-10ish everyday ..we will have large trash cans for all of us to keep the ground clean at all times. We don’t want rodents sneaking up on us so please make sure to put your food away and keep the area clean so that we don’t run into any issues. \n\n\n\n– We’ll have an above ground Fire Pit for all of us to enjoy. \n\n\n\n-Feel free to bring Corn Hole Boards and outdoor games the more the much merrier! \n\n\n\n-Dogs on a leash AT ALL TIMES. Pick up their poop!! \n\n\n\n*** Only well mannered dogs are welcomed. No aggressive breeds!!! There will be a designated area for dogs to do their business. Please utilize it as we don’t want to have them going all over the camping area where the public as well as yourself will spend most of your time. There will not be any poop on the property when you get there and we would like to keep it that way so it is very imperative that you clean up behind your fur babies at all times. Worst feeling is stepping in dog poop which will ruin your day and anyone else. \n\n\n\n..Safe travels\, fingers crossed and pray for good weather!!! If you are planning to attend and your name is not on this list\, I urge you to contact Ozark Outdoors as soon as possible while there are still a few sites available for our group. If you have a friend who is looking for a fun rally\, encourage them to attend. Campers should be pre 1980 (or based on a pre 1980 design). Exceptions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. We have a great rally planned. Stacy Drane has volunteered to plan a variety of fun activities for all who choose to participate. As always\, there will be river floating\, cave tours\, hiking and other fun activities available at the Resort as well. We will provide donuts and coffee Friday and Saturday morning as well as campfires at the group site in the evenings. Saturday we will have an open house mid-day (hours to be announced). Be prepared to show off your pride and joy camper to your camper friends. There will also be a potluck dinner Saturday night. Throughout the weekend\, our camp counselors will have multiple opportunities to earn merit badges in bird-watching and wildflower identification. \n\n\n\nFriday night we will host a very special “Bird-Day” Party with cake and “tweets” at the Mess Hall for our resident “bird-nerd” and camp-host\, Tammy. April 14th is her special day! \n\n\n\nSaturday night will feature a potluck dinner at the Mess Hall for all camp counselors. While enjoying the camporee\, you can opt for total relaxation\, or join the group throughout the weekend for a variety of camp activities including\, paint by numbers\, kayaking\, biking\, fishing\, crafting classes\, design-a-camp flag\, and of course\, campfire songs and s’mores! \n\n\n\nNestled in a ring of pine and oak covered mountains: the Sans Bois\, Jackforks\, Kiamichis and Ouachitas\, Lake Wister State Park welcomes wildlife watchers\, nature photographers\, vintage camping enthusiasts and anyone wishing to escape into the great outdoors. The Poteau River\, Oklahoma’s only river that flows north\, feeds into Lake Wister along with the Fourche Maline and a half dozen or more mountain streams providing fresh cool water perfect for fishing. Our Vintage Trailer Camporee campground at Victor Landing has brand new individual\, private bathrooms and bathhouses just steps from our campsites. \n\n\n\nLake Wister State Park is approximately 2 hrs 15 min from Tulsa\, 3 hrs from OKC\, 1 hr. 40 min from Fayetteville\, AR\, and 4 hrs from Dallas\, TX. \n\n\n\nRegister now for the April 13-16\, 2023 rally! They first purchased a 1963 Cardinal canned ham trailer (for restoration) in June of 2022\, a camping-ready 1957 Catolac Deville in July of 2022\, and a 1952 Comet (for restoration)\, a camping-ready 1957 Shasta 1500 in the Fall of 2022\, a 1963 Eagle (built in Sapulpa\, OK) that needs a little TLC\, but will be saved! \n\n\n\nThey have attended four vintage camping rallies between Sept. to Nov. of 2022 with the Green Country Vintage Glampers\, and have loved every outing! Scott and Tammy have one son\, Carson age 5\, and enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. In his free time\, Scott enjoys tinkering/restoring old cars/trucks\, and Tammy is an avid bird-watcher and nature-lover. They have 60 acres near Howe\, OK. Scott has been the Superintendent at Howe Public Schools for 24 years. Tammy also works at HPS as the Dir. of Instructional Technology/Federal Programs and teaches Multimedia Journalism and Computer Science.

DESCRIPTION:Wolf Creek Park\, a 110-acre park near Coldspring\, Texas\, opened in 1972. The park offers 102 camping sites\, including 54 campsites with full hookups for RV’s\, complete with 50-amp service and concrete pads. There are also 48 campsites with water and electricity. Park amenities include restrooms and showers\, boat ramps\, fishing piers\, fish cleaning stations\, marina\, playground and volleyball and basketball courts. The park is open from March through November. \n\n\n\nTigerville Park is a day-use facility located in Livingston that includes a free public boat ramp\, restroom facilities and day-use picnic amenities. Additionally\, TRA owns and maintains four free public boat ramps around the lake including\, Blanchard\, Patrick’s Ferry\, Whiterock and Point Blank.

SUMMARY:Vintage RV Rally and Classic Car Show at Deception Pass State Park
DESCRIPTION:Bring your vintage (any model before ’85) RV or trailer for a weekend rally at Deception Pass State Park. This year is all about the park’s 100th anniversary of being a state park so we want you to bring your piece of history to help us celebrate. \n\n\n\nCamping is in the Forest Loop of the Cranberry Lake Campground right in the heart of the park. All sites have full hookup and we do have two sites that are ADA accessible. The price for registration covers participation in the rally and camping at the park for two nights. You have to register for both nights even if you only want to camp for one. \n\n\n\nFriday is hospitality night sponsored by Deception Pass Tours\, and Saturday is the open house from 11 AM to 3 PM. This is the same day as the Picnic in the Park\, a free event with live music\, local artisans\, food trucks\, and a beer garden! DESCRIPTION:PDF registration for this year’s SAF Rally\, July 21-24 at the Elkhart Campground\, in Elkhart\, Indiana.   \n\n\n\nSAF-Summer-Registration-2022Download\n\n\n\nAs mentioned in the introduction letter and application\, please try to have this back to me by July 1\, so I can finalize the number of sites with the campground.  In 2021\, we ended up with 30 units from across the country. As of right now\, we will be following the same safety guidelines as suggested by the State of Indiana and the CDC.  The cost for the Rally this year is $25 per person\, as indicated on the application.  This cost is to cover the cost of food\, activities and the rally room\, which is adjacent to our rally area.  A discounted camping fee of $40/nt (for two persons) will be payable directly to Elkhart Campground upon arrival only!  Please do not call the campground ahead of time to pay as they will not accept your payment. All sites are full hookups and will be assigned within our group area upon arrival at the request of Elkhart Campground. Once I receive your application\, I will add you to the attendee list and e-mail you a receipt.  I will also add you to a separate e-mail list of attendees\, so I can continue to send out details of this year’s rally as they unfold.  I have had a couple of people e-mail me with special requests.  I will try to accommodate these as best as possible.  I have asked the campground to block the six closest sites to the rally room for those with special needs.  Please make a note of this when you return your application and check so I can notify the campground.If you plan to arrive early or stay beyond the rally\, please indicate that on your form\, so I can give the campground a heads up.  I have had a lot of interest and have been assured by Elkhart Campground that we will be located together as a group.  Also\, please check with your friends who plan on coming this year to make sure they have received the application.  If this is your first time attending the rally\, please make a note on the application.
