SUMMARY:CANCELLED - Tin Can Tourists 102nd Annual Winter Convention
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF RSVPs AND COVID RESTRICTIONS \n\n\n\nDue to COVID concerns\, registration commitments were extremely low as compared to previous years and financial commitments/contracts required to hold the rally could not be supported. \n\n\n\nThis year will be packed full of fun and safe events. We will do everything we can to keep everyone safe and healthy. We found a professional caterer that will prepare meals safely and severed in to-go containers allowing members to eat at socially distanced tables or take their meals back to their trailer. This year event T-Shirts are included in the rally packet. There will be a socially distanced outdoor movie night (Every trailer gets Jiffy Pop and other movie treats in their welcome packet.) Custom TCT Mask will be provided for all members. New this year is a shuffle board tournament (Mask required for participates) and we are sure to have some strong competition as other Rallies have had Shuffle Board and we are finding out that teams have officially been formed and some already have their own team uniforms!  There will not be a Public open house this year but we will have Friday Night Lights were members are encouraged to decorate the exteriors with lights and open all their curtains with interior lights turned on so we can all ‘tour’ and ‘view’ the trailers outside safely from the windows. Saturday will also include a Swap meet as usual and the Ladies Exchange that we had last year. Sanitation will be a top priority for this event! SUMMARY:Elk Creek Get Away
DESCRIPTION:I am super excited to announce that we will be gathering at the Elk Creek Campground in Grand Lake next year\, 2021.Rocky Mountain National Park is just a few miles down the road\, the lakes are gorgeous (and they have affordable boat rentals on site!)\, and there are so many shops and restaurants to discover!The campground is absolutely beautiful\, clean facilities\, with spacious and private sites. As a bonus – the owners are the nicest people in the world!FINE PRINT:The campground will be holding sites for our group. Once that date has passed\, sites will be made available to the general public.The dates are Thursday 6/3/2021 to Monday 6/6/2021. Do not feel pressured to reserve all 4 days – we realize that is not possible for everyone – you may reserve any range of dates that works best for you. We will have a “Meet and Greet” gathering on Friday evening\, and a pot luck Wah-dinger breakfast (I’ll show ya how) followed by Trailer Tours on Saturday morning. More info will be posted as we get closer to the event date.The campground will be taking a $100 non-refundable deposit. THIS MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER MEMBER IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL. We realize that it is difficult to schedule this far in advance\, and “things” happen. The campground will work very hard to make sure sites are transferred and everyone is taken care of. All reservations\, cancellations\, and transfers MUST go through the campground. They will do their absolute best to accommodate everyone.If you do not have a trailer – don’t despair!!! DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual TCT Shadow Of The Bear Rally @ Indigo Bluffs September 16th to 19th. (As always you are encouraged to arrive early and stay late.)  \n\n\n\nThe 2021 Shadow Of The Bear Rally will be a lot like the SOTB 2020 gathering. Due to COVID-19 and the Delta variant\, Open House\, Pot Lucks\, Koffee Klatches\, and group events at local restaurants have been cancelled for 2021. We look forward to their return in 2022.  \n\n\n\nFor 2021\, we will have an outside gathering area reserved for us near the pavilion. (This is a different location than 2020.) Just as in 2020\, there will be a food truck available on the campground. We would like to take our meals together in the outside gathering area. We encourage you to make your meals at your site and bring them to the common area to share time with one another. If you prefer\, the food truck will have delicious offerings for your enjoyment.  \n\n\n\nThe area surrounding Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of the most beautiful in all of America. As a bonus – the owners are the nicest people in the world!FINE PRINT:The dates are Thursday Sept 16 thru Sept 20. Do not feel pressured to reserve all 4 days – we realize that is not possible for everyone – you may reserve any range of dates that works best for you. We will have a “Meet and Greet” gathering on Friday evening\, and a pot luck Wah-dinger breakfast (I’ll show ya how) followed by Trailer Tours on Saturday morning. More info will be posted as we get closer to the event date.The campground will be taking a $100 non-refundable deposit. THIS MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER MEMBER IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL. The campground will work very hard to make sure sites are transferred and everyone is taken care of. All reservations\, cancellations\, and transfers MUST go through the campground. DESCRIPTION:Due to the cancelation of the annual Rollin Through the Decades Rally at TopSail Hill Preserve in Santa Rosa Beach Florida\, We have come up with a replacement campground/event the SAME WEEKEND for those that still want to camp. There is a private luxury RV park just 30 miles north of the TopSail event location (right off I-10) in DeFuniak Springs Florida that will welcome our group as a replacement park and has agreed to possibly work with us for future events after this year’s unofficial trial run. Unfortunately they do not offer senior discounts but the park is incredibly nice with a lot to do in and around Historical DeFuniak Springs. If anyone would like to camp with our group that will be at Twin Lakes RV Resort they may do so by calling Twin Lakes and booking a site for Oct 7-10 2021. https://twinlakescampresort.com/ Twin Lakes only allows RSVPs by phone so if you call with no answer please leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible\, remember they are on Central Time Zone. They also require a $50 non refundable / Non Transferable deposit for all reservations. I have personally camped at this park several times and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed\, they definitely have the best showers I have ever encountered at any RV park! If you want to come stay with the rest of the TCTers be sure to make your RSVPs soon!

SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 1st Annual Vintage Liftoff Rally !
DESCRIPTION:Blast off at the 1st. Annual Tin Can Tourists Liftoff Rally. Located on Florida’s Space Coast along the shore of the Indian River LagoonManatee Hammock is a shaded and quiet hammock of pines and palms. The park features a fishing pier\, pavilion and a perfect view of the Kennedy Space Center. Depending on the launch schedule we may be able to view a launch during the rally !The camping fee as of Sept. 2020 is $29 which includes all taxes. \n\n\n\nThe camping fee is separate from the the rally fee. The campground has 166 full hookup sites and 20 with water and electric only. Reservations can be made starting one year before the rally date. Be aware that November is the start of their winter season so be sure to reserve asap. First come\, first serve! If you wait until close to the November 2021 rally date you will probably be out of luck. \n\n\n\nSome recommended sites are: 58-64\, 69-78\, 80-84\, 127-139\, 156-162. You can reserve online or give the campground a call and they will help you choose a site. 1-321-264-5083. DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There will be no registration nor a rally fee with TCT\, but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite for this event. The nightly fee for TCT is $35 with full hookups\, pickle ball and shuffle ball courts and use of a big beautiful clubhouse. Tell them you are with TCT as they will be grouping us together. Reservations will accepted starting April 19th 2021 for a 90 day period ending July 19th 2021. Do not call before April 19th to make a reservation. The reservation window may be expanded depending on the number of confirmed reservations. At this time Oak Alley is blocking out 40 sites for TCT. All TCTers are encouraged to bring your Christmas decorations for your trailer.
