DESCRIPTION:Southwest Tin Can Tourists is holding a Tiki theme rally at a brand new RV resort- River Sands- opening in December right along the Colorado River. This is a luxury resort with sandy beaches and full river access\, a swimming pool\, hot tub\, and a store with ice. Kayaks will be available to rent and people may enjoy the best of both river fun and a deluxe resort with all the bells and whistles. While vintage trailers are usually banned from RV resorts\, this one is welcoming us and even giving campers an unheard of 20% discount. Back ins are just 57 and pull throughs 67 (limited number) plus taxes. All trailers and teardrops are welcome as long as they are in presentable condition. \n\n\n\nThe rally is scheduled in the cool weather of early March. Campers arrive and set up on Thursday so they may have all day Friday and Saturday to enjoy a unique vacation. All our rally events are scheduled for early morning or evenings to allow participants to explore the area or enjoy the resort’s facilities. We are an easy drive to Joshua Tree National Park\, Oatman (burro encounters)\, and the bridge at Havasu. DESCRIPTION:It’s not too late! Registration for the 104th TCT Winter Convention is still open. (Official dates: February 23-26\, 2023 with early arrival on Wednesday February 22nd\, 2023.) \n\n\n\nNEW LOCATION!!! \n\n\n\nThe 2023 Winter Convention has moved to a new location at Lake Oklawaha KOA in Fort McCoy\, Florida. SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists Rally With The Gators
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the inaugural Tin Can Tourists Rally With The Gators at Fisheating Creek Outpost. This will be a small rally by TCT standards as we have been able to secure only fourteen campsites by prepaying the first night campsite fee. We have ten site for three nights and four sites for two nights.  \n\n\n\nAt Fisheating creek you’re likely to spot gators and turtles\, a great blue heron\, white egrets and other assorted critters. Available activities include paddling\, hiking/biking\, fishing and swimming. With a sizable gator population swimming may not be the best idea. Speaking of gators the best way to get up close with them is to rent a kayak or canoe. As you paddle the tranquil creek the gators will swim out from the bank to greet you just like in the old Tarzan movies. The more friendly ones may even bump your kayak or canoe just to say hello. DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There will be no registration nor a rally fee with TCT\, but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite for this event. Do not book your site online. You must call the office to get the rally rate. The nightly fee for TCT is $45 with full hookups\, pickle ball and shuffle ball courts\, swimming pool\, hot tub and use of a big beautiful clubhouse. Tell them you are with TCT as they will be grouping us together. From now until May Oak Alley will be compiling a list of TCT members for December but will not be securing payment. That is because their computer system will not accept paid reservations until the end of their winter/spring season. Oak Alley will call everyone on the list starting in May to secure payment. DESCRIPTION:This is a private luxury RV park just 30 miles north of the Santa Rosa Beach Florida (right off I-10) in DeFuniak Springs Florida. The park is incredibly nice with a lot to do in and around Historical DeFuniak Springs. If anyone would like to camp with our group that will be at Twin Lakes RV Resort they may do so by calling Twin Lakes and booking a site for Oct 6-11 2022. https://twinlakescampresort.com/ Twin Lakes only allows RSVPs by phone so if you call with no answer please leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible\, remember they are on Central Time Zone. They also require a $50 non refundable / Non Transferable deposit for all reservations. I have personally camped at this park several times and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed\, they definitely have the best showers I have ever encountered at any RV park! If you want to come stay with the rest of the TCTers be sure to make your RSVPs soon!

DESCRIPTION:Greetings one and all! \n\n\n\nWe are very excited for The Shadow Of The Bear Rally’s return to Orchard Beach State Park.  The park and Tin Can Tourists have been friends for over a century.  Last year\, a lot of you expressed a strong desire to return to Orchard Beach.  We listened and took action.  Now the Pavilion has been moved\, we can safely enjoy our meals there.  All of us – as many of us as are in attendance.  The park’s rangers have recommended a block of sites for our gathering. SUMMARY:2022 Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. Join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nLast year the park set aside 30 sites for us and we ended up with 44 attending. In 2022\, they are setting aside 40 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get you camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe group hold code expired at the end of February – so now you’ll need to just get a site the old fashioned way and try to get as close as possible to the group. As of 3/2/22 there were still about 6 sites in the general area (138\, 139\, 141\, 147\, 159\, 161) \n\n\n\n136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Cornhole Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for packaged TCT coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for cornhole tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n2pm – Cornhole Tournament – prizes for the winning team! Raffles of items from the community and campground – There is a $25 gift card to Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant which is just down the road from the park; two buy one get one free pizza certificates from BC Pizza and one get a free pizza from BC which is on the corner of M 115 and M55; a $20 certificate from a coffee shop which is in the plaza on the corner of M 115 and M 55. They have some baked good and other things besides coffee.  Also a few trinkets from the campground gift shop.6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. DESCRIPTION:Shake off the cold weather\, and dust out the camper and head on down to Dolores to The Views RV Park & Campground\, LLC. \n\n\n\nStart off the season at a phenomenal campground in Dolores. Just before things start to get too warm and the holiday weekends hit. \n\n\n\nCheck in on Thursday and head out on Sunday\, I personally will be staying through til Monday morning. \n\n\n\nInformal gathering on Thursday evening\, Cocktails and small snacks dinner on Friday\, and a Wah-dinger breakfast on Saturday morning\, followed by trailer tours. I will have a larger percolator for morning caffeine and the campground has a lovely gathering area with bbq grills and covered eating. \n\n\n\nPlease call the office and reserve your place. (970) 749-6489I would love to fill the place with vintages but feel free to come with what you have. They also have glamping tents on site if you don’t have a rig.
