DESCRIPTION:Greetings TCTers! \n\n\n\n     The 107th Annual Winter Convention Registration is officially open! (See registration forms below) We are happy to be returning to the Robinson Ranch right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between downtown Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to book early as we only have 130 elect/water sites\, in addition to a dry camping field\, and the event will fill up fast!  \n\n\n\nPlease note there are two different registration forms attached to this email\, one for attending the event with a trailer and one for those that want to attend but do not have a trailer and wish to stay nearby by acquiring their own accommodations and attending the daily rally events with a gate pass.  \n\n\n\n DATES: \n\n\n\nThe official convention dates will be February 19-22\, 2026 with February 18th being an optional early arrival day. Remember\, like last year no member will be allowed to arrive on site earlier than the 18th of February as this venue is not a public RV park and we are only contracted to have our members arrive on the specific rally days. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the general area earlier\, you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park/state park until the gates open at noon February 18th 2026. The venue has agreed that anyone that wants to stay a night or two AFTER the official rally may do so for an additional $30.00 per night paid in person to the venue host (Dave) at the conclusion of the event. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN: \n\n\n\nTCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between noon-4:30pm EST if possible and please be patient as we direct all rigs during parking. Official check in will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsite parking is all ‘First Come First Served’. There is the option of registering for a 30 amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will be allowed in the Dry Camping area only\, and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm only please. There is a dump station on site for all members to use.   \n\n\n\nThere is a bathhouse onsite and there will be additional port-o-lets for the dry camping area\, pavilion\, and those sites furthest from the main bathhouse. \n\n\n\n If you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-430pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\n Attending without a trailer (Staying elsewhere): \n\n\n\n Attention TCTers! DESCRIPTION:TCT returns to Otter Springs! Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Otter Springs Campground in Trenton Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. The camping fee for 2025 is $40 per night tax included. Veterans receive a a 15% discount. DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Tin Can Tourists 5th Annual Vintage Liftoff Rally. Located on Florida’s Space Coast along the shore of the Indian River Lagoon. Manatee Hammock is a shaded and quiet hammock of pines and palms. The park features a fishing pier\, pavilion and a perfect view of the Kennedy Space Center. Depending on the launch schedule we may be able to view a launch just like we did for the 2nd\, 3rd & 4th rallies! The second night of the rally falls on Halloween Night….so be prepared. This years theme is Pirate Steam Punk. \n\n\n\nThe campground has 186 full hookup sites. \n\n\n\nNovember is the start of the winter season so be sure to reserve asap. First come\, first serve. DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, April 12th we will be have a vintage trailer show in Tyrone\, Ga. near Peachtree City\, 20 miles South of Atlanta. This will be a big event because it will be held in conjunction with Tyrone’s annual Spring Fling which attracts people from all over the county.  \n\nThis will be an official Tin Can Tourist event. \n\nIt will be heavily advertised by the City of Tyrone so we need trailers to participate.  It will be very organized and a lot of fun.  \n\n– One day only event.  No camping at venue.  If you would like to camp nearby Chattahoochee Bend State Park is recommended.  It is beautiful\, clean\, and new.  If we get enough people camping there we could make it an “unofficial” rally. DESCRIPTION:Greetings TCTers! \n\n\n\n     The 106th Annual Winter Convention Registration is open! (Registration attached) We are happy to be returning to the Robinson Ranch right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between downtown Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to book early as we only have 130 elect/water sites in addition to a dry camping field.  \n\n\n\nDATES: \n\n\n\nThe official convention dates will be February 19-23\, 2025 with February 19th being an optional early arrival day. Remember that like last year no member will be allowed to arrive earlier than the 19th of February as this venue is not a public RV park and we are only contracted to have our members arrive on the official dates for the rally. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the area earlier you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park until the gates open at noon February 19th 2025. The venue has agreed that anyone that wants to stay a night or two AFTER the official rally may do so for an additional $25.00 per night paid in person to the venue host.  \n\n\n\nCHECK IN: \n\n\n\nTCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between noon-5:00pm EDT if possible and please be patient as we direct all rigs during parking. Official registration will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsite parking is all ‘First Come First Served’. There is the option of registering for a 30amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will be allowed in the Dry Camping area only and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm only please. There is a dump station on site for all members to use.   \n\n\n\nThis year we will also have additional port-o-lets for the dry camping area\, sites furthest from the bathrooms\, and close to the pavilion.  \n\n\n\nWe are also working on the possibility of having Golf Cart rentals for members\, but more details will be sent out if these options can be secured.  \n\n\n\nIf you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-5pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet  \n\n\n\nVOLUNTEERS: \n\n\n\nWe do need volunteers to help during the event. If you would like to volunteer\, please select that option on the official registration or with one of the TCT officials once you arrive. Volunteers are needed to help set-up\, gate registration\, break-down\, check arm bands\, serve meals\, meal clean up\, open house gate attendants\, etc…  \n\n\n\nSCHEDULE: \n\n\n\nThere are many events planned during the 106th Winter Convention\, catered meals\, meet and greets\, movie night\, live entertainment\, contest\, swap meet\, vintage trailer open house\, and so much more! DESCRIPTION:Our rally this year will be held at the Pine Mountain RV Resort in Pine Mountain\,\nGeorgia\, an hour and a half drive South of Atlanta. Dates are from October 31 to November 3\, 2024. It is a beautiful area with FDR State Park and Callaway Gardens right down the road.  \n\n\nHalloween is the theme and we have some great events planned! \n\n– Pumpkin carving contest\n– Halloween party (trophy for best costume) with the Kris Youmans Band\n– Trophy for best Halloween decorated trailer\n–  Bonfire party with s’mores\n– Tim Heintz presentation on the history of vintage trailers \n– Spooky movie night…..and more to come\n     \nWe have 100 full hookup sites available for our group. All sites will be first come\, first serve. There is also a selection of cabins\, yurts\, and tent sites to stay in if you do not have a camper. There are two sections to stay in. Check-in time is Thursday\, October 31 at 1:00 pm\, check-out is on Sunday\,  November 3 at 11:00 am. You are free to come earlier in the week or stay later if you wish.  You must make the reservation by phone.  \n\n\nRates: $75.00 + $6.00 tax = $81.00 per night. \n\n     \n\nA one-night deposit is due at the time of reservation. This is refundable by July 3rd\, 2024\, minus a 10% fee. The remaining non-refundable balance is due by August 3rd\, 2024 \n\n\nFill out the registration form and mail a $45 check to Pete Whitley at the time of booking. We do not accept PayPal or Venmo. The registration fee is $45 which will pay for live music\, trophies\, T-shirts\, welcome bags\, etc.  Registration fee is non-refundable after October 1st.

SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 105th Winter Convention
DESCRIPTION:The 105th Annual Winter Convention Registration is open!  We have a new home for the TCT Winter Convention which will be the Private Robinson Ranch located in a pristine old Florida setting right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to send your TCT registration early as we only have 130 elect/water sites in addition to a dry camping field. There is a dump station on site and a bath house in the park. Do Not contact the park and please only coordinate through Tim Heintz / Tin Can Tourists.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATES:The official convention dates will be February 21-25\, 2024 with February 21st being an optional early arrival day. This year no rigs will be allowed to arrive earlier than the 21st of February as this venue is not a public RV park so we are only allowed to have our members arrive on the official dates contracted for the rally. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the area earlier you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park until the convention gates open at 11:00am on February 21st 2024. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN:TCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between 11:00am-5:00pm EDT if possible and please be patient as we direct rigs to the sites. Official registration will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive on site by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsites are all ‘First Come First Serve’. This year we have the option of registering for a 30amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will only be allowed in the Dry Camping area and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm. There is a dump station on site for all members to use. \n\n\n\nIf you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-5pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\nOFF SITE PARTICIPATES:There will even be a registration option for our members that may currently not have a camping rig to bring\, decide to travel without your rig\, staying in a hotel/Airbnb\, or even live nearby and just want to participate in the official daily rally activities. Select the ‘No Camping Spot’ option on the registration form (Plus additional guests if applicable) and you may still participate in all of the official events with an event gate pass. You will still receive an official rally bag\, t-shirt(s)\, meals\, etc. \n\n\n\nVOLUNTEERS:We always need volunteers to help during the event. If you would like to volunteer\, please let us know by email\, sign up during official registration or with one of the TCT officials after you arrive. Volunteers will be needed to help set-up\, gate registration\, break-down\, check meal tickets\, serve meals\, meal clean up\, open house gate attendants\, etc… \n\n\n\nSCHEDULE: THIS YEAR’S THEME….. DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the 2nd. Annual Rally With The Gators at Fisheating Creek Outpost. Twenty sites have been set aside for TCT on a first come first serve basis. Call the office\, (863) 675-5999\, tell them you are with TCT and they will help you select a site. Do not bother reserving online. We have sites on rows B\,C\,D &F. There is a narrow 14 day window starting Saturday 2/18 and ending on Saturday 3/4 to secure all the sites\, after that they go back on the market. The short time frame for reserving sites is a policy of Fisheating Creek. The inauguaral event was a big hit and we look forward to the 2nd. Annual to be even better. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There is no rally fee nor registration required but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite. Tell them you are with TCT to get the discount rate of $45 per night for full hookups. Do not book a site online. Fifty sites have been set aside for us with 30 being grouped in the grass area by the entrance and the remainder on the street west of the pool. We will once again be judging trailer decorations on Friday night and also having the traditional Christmas Sweater contest. There will be a potluck on Saturday night 12/2 @5:30 in the clubhouse. The winners of the trailer judging will be announced during the potluck and also the Sweater contest participants. Don’t forget your swimsuits for the pool and pickleball gear if you a player.
