As locals\, Ethan Jerrie\, and I are so excited to not only show you some of the most stunning vistas of our state and our county but to share some incredible history with you. Lake Tahoe is recognized worldwide for its beauty and its reputation as a sportsman’s paradise. Home to the 1960 Winter Olympic Games and some of the best hiking\, backpacking\, skiing\, boating\, camping\, and fishing in California\, Lake Tahoe\, a nearly 2 million-year-old lake has been a destination for recreators of all types since approximately the middle of the 19th century.We hope that your journey to Lake Tahoe will be as exciting for you as it has been for us to plan. Prepare for your adventure around Lake Tahoe’s 72 mile coastline drive  \n\n\n\nFor those of you who are staying with us for the Gypsy part of the camp experience from July 20-22 you will be treated to some of California’s most exciting history from your drive over the majestic Sierra’s to a drive up the golden chain highway to see the beginnings of the Gold Rish to an adventure into the history of the Donner Party and more. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-lifetime adventure. Join us as a camper\, or a car club member.
