SUMMARY:TCT Route 66 Centennial Caravan
DESCRIPTION:***** THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT – TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST\, EMAIL TCT1919@GMAIL.COM ***** \n\n\n\nThe Tin Can Tourists will be celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of Route 66 by hosting two caravans that both end up in Texas. The Eastern Caravan will go from Illinois to Texas. \n\n\n\nWe are an official Route 66 Centennial event recognized by the Route 66 Centennial Planning Commission. https://route66centennial.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEASTERN CARAVAN \n\n\n\nWe’ve reached the limit of 25 trailers/motorcoaches for the Eastern Caravan and booking of campgrounds is nearly complete. After the caravan participants have booked their sites\, if anyone wants to participate along the caravan route\, we will provide the campground information and they can make reservations at the same campgrounds if sites are available but that might mean a nearby campground. We will welcome all to rally with us at the final destination\, which should have ample room for everyone. We will bring extra caravan merchandise that you can buy in Amarillo.  \n\n\n\nThe Eastern Caravan will stop in these towns along the eastern part of Route 66: \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7th – Springfield\, Illinois \n\n\n\nMonday\, June 8th – Waynesville\, Missouri \n\n\n\nTuesday\, June 9th – Claremore\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 10th – Foss\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 11th – Sunday\, June 14th\, Amarillo TX – https://www.visitamarillo.com/events/route-66/\n\n\n\nReturning home will be at your pace and up to you to schedule – you could stay down in Texas for awhile with friends from the caravan\, head to a different part of the country to visit a National Park you’ve never experienced\, or rush home for work!\n\n\n\n\nThe caravans are purposely planned to be a slow pace of 200-250 and a consistent drive each day. We will provide a list of places to stop along the route to sightsee and to take pictures. \n\n\n\nWe have room for 25 vintage trailers on the Eastern Caravan. \n\n\n\nWe also expect that TCT members may want to join us at any point in the route or join us at the final campground for the Route 66 festival in Amarillo\, Texas. That would be great and totally an option. \n\n\n\nWESTERN CARAVAN\n\n\n\nThe Western Caravan will stop in these towns along the western part of Route 66: \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7th – Mother Road Museum – Barstow\, California \n\n\n\nMonday\, June 8th – Seligman\, AZ\n\n\n\nTuesday\, June 9th – Gallup NM\n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 10th – Santa Rosa\, NM\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 11th – Sunday\, June 14th\, Amarillo TX – https://www.visitamarillo.com/events/route-66/\n\n\n\nReturning home will be at your pace and up to you to schedule – you could stay down in Texas for awhile with friends from the caravan\, head to a different part of the country to visit a National Park you’ve never experienced\, or rush home for work!\n\n\n\n\nThe caravans are purposely planned to be a slow pace and a consistent drive each day. We will provide a list of places to stop along the route to sightsee and to take pictures. \n\n\n\nWe have room for 25 vintage trailers to be on the Western Caravan but we aren’t limited to that. The limitation is just based on how many campsites are being reserved for us right now. \n\n\n\nWe also expect that TCT members may want to join us at any point in the route or join us at the final campground for the Route 66 festival in Amarillo\, Texas. That would be great and totally an option. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION\n\n\n\nYou must be a TCT Member and be pulling a vintage trailer or traveling in a Vintage Motor Coach to participate in the caravan. \n\n\n\nThe caravan fee is $100 per person that will be used for caravan branded merchandise that will be provided to the attendees and for their vehicles. It will also be used to provide a meal in Amarillo at the rally. \n\n\n\nCurrent Caravan Roster\n\n\n\n(As of 5/22/26 – Eastern Caravan: 31 Trailers / Western Caravan: 32 Trailers / Rally in Texas: 72 Trailers / 132 People) \n\n\n\nNameFirstSpouse/PartnerTrailer and Tow VehicleBoneTerryMichelle1957 Avion & 2025 Ford F150MorrisonBrandonLiz1951 Lutes CoachJohnsonDougTeresa1962 Aloha Celebrity & 2024 Chevy Silverado SmilieDal1946 Model 1 Curtis Wright & 1948 StudebakerFisherBill Candy1947 Curtis WrightBastianDawn 1962 Holiday House trailer & 2019 ChevyBlaquiere DenisGinger 1975 Avion LaGrande & 2005 Dodge RamEngelNan1955 Silver Dome & 2023 Chevy SilveradoHoeh DonDawn 1976 Argosy or possibly a 1967 Streamline & 2015 GMCKwapichJohnCathi 1948 Studebaker & 1965 Avalair camper.CantrellLeeJoyce1976 Argosy24 & 2013 Ford F150SchaeferPhil G.D. 1953 Spartan manor & new pickup truckFlis-SchneiderDiane (maybe a passenger)1935 Bowlus Road Chief & 2023 Lincoln Aviator KerfootWilliam Koreen Kerfoot1979 Airstream Safari & 1973 Dodge W200 PowerWagonKeenanGaryMartha1961 BambiNessimDaniel Deborah1954 Terry 16 ft & Dodge Ram truck WrightJaniceJohn1948 Western Flyer CoachHoffmannAngela Art Sonneborn1960 Avion 24 Holiday & 2018 Ford F150McCoolBrianKim1947 Spartan Manor & 1952 DeSoto wagonOlmstedKirk Beth 1989 Avion 30P & 2024 F 250DoscherGeorge Jo Ellen 1953 Spartanette & 2021 SilveradoHerrmannLuciusDanielle 1977 Airstream A/VanWestRobertKathy1961 Kenskill ButterflyMitzelDanJan 1953 Northland Coach & 1953 Ford Customline Station WagonWhartonKathyBill 1972 International Airstream & GMC DenaliWymerTim Alice 1948 Airstream Liner & F-250 Truck HaffnerRickJan1962 Aloha CelebrityMooreTomRhonda 1966 – 22” KenCraftBleauJennifer Trevor MacLeod1970 Cardinal 13′ & 2019 Ford Explorer. PatersonBarbara 1963 Field & Stream & 2012 Toyota TundraHensleyKevinConnie1963 Airstream Bambi & 1995 Chevy VanRoushWendy Bill65 Airstream Overlander & Ford TransitWedekindPatriciaKinsey Kerfoot\, Patrick Kerfoot1954 29′ Airstream Liner & 2016 RAM 1500HawkinsGordon1959 Avion R-23 & 1959 Mercury VoyagerMasonDave1961 Holiday House WhiteDaveLori FloodCustom 1948 Curtis Wright inspired motorhome towing a custom 66 corvetteHickethierTomSandy1961 20’ Yellowstone & 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500MckelveyMichaelKaren 2020 Toyota Tundra1965 tag a long 20’BurgJohnLinda1960 14 ft Corvette Can Ham1965 Ford F100 pick upMortensonDavidCheryl 1967 Aristocrat Lo Liner2006 GMC Sierra\,ShinnLindaNone – flying to AmarilloThorntonJerryLisa2012 Ford F250 pulling a 25’ 1969 AvionUhlenburgMark1955 Boles Aero Ensenada2022 Chevrolet SilveradoHarpJoelRachel1947 Boles AeroSimoneauxKeithKaren1969 Airstream Caravel2021 GMC SierraWilliamsJohnNaomi1963 Shasta 2021 Ford BroncoHirscherWayneDiane 1946 Ford pulling1949 TeardropKawaDaveDonna Chance2001 Taylor Coach Bobbie 12 foot/ 1978 Pinto Crusing WagonBorkholderFloyd Jane 1967 Corsair2019 Dodge RamBalesPatrickJane 1964 Cardinal Lovebird2015 GMC 2500MolinarTammieAdam1966 TravelEze 21′ 2025 GMC Denali SUVSimmonsChris Kristy1949 Spartan Manor’55 Chevy Wagon or ’51 MercuryWallaceBethChris Sanor1999 Airstream SafariBundschuhJean2021 Silverado pickup and a vintage trailerKoleBarryDaugther1947 Aero Flite Falcon2021 4 RunnerNotemanGeorge Lynda1956 Airstream Bubble 2017 GMC Savana conversion vanCurryKimberlyMark1967 Streamline Empress 30′ 2023 GMC SierraMalcolmKelly Nancy Malcolm Toyota highlander 1971 Serro Scotty EckartHeather 1964 Cardinal 2016 4runnerVinsonBobSheryl 1951 Airfloat Skipper2000 chevy 3/4 4×4 pickupHeathGlenda Jerry Zambo59 Shasta2007 Toyota TacomaStennetJoseph 1972 Argosy Trailer1994 Chevy PickupAdrianJimDebra1963 Serro Scotty Sportsman2022 Ford RangerKunischJack Jodie Toyota Sequoia ‘62 ShastaWilsonBoyceAmy1949 Vagabond Model 192021 RAM Promaster VanLangleyEthan1951 Lighthouse DuplexFosterCindyEmmett Kenney1985 Sunline 14’2024 Ram pickup truckLarsonRoseRick56 Caravanner.MillerDannielRachel57 Airstream or 61 AvionCattersonShelly Marcelo1963 RoadRunner 2002 Toyota TundraJordanBill Regina Schaub1956 Comet1996 Ford EconolineForce Charles(Has a new T@B)ShumateBradfordRuth \, Meredith Shumate2007 Airstream Bambi DWRMedinaRosieClass B VanRobertJerryLaura 1966 Forester bunk over camper2013 Toyota Tundra.\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION PROCESS:\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL BE A SIGNIFICANT COMMITMENT IN TIME\, MONEY AND LONG DISTANCE TOWING. SUMMARY:Camp Vintage Rendezvous - Red Bluff\, CA
DESCRIPTION:A Camp Vintage Rendezvous is a simpler\, more relaxed version of our larger Trailerfest rallies. These smaller gatherings are designed for vintage trailer friends who want to camp together\, visit\, share a few meals\, and enjoy the area without the full schedule\, entertainment\, vendors\, themes\, costume parties\, or big productions that come with our larger events.  \n\n\n\nPricing is the cost of the RV site plus a $25 rally fee. Our prices are all inclusive of taxes and fees. (Non-subscribers to the VCT Magazine pay an additional $20.) Subscribe to save $20 off of each of our rallies. Not sure if you already have reservations for one of our rallies? Use the Manage Tickets button at the top of any rally page to check your registration. \n\n\n\nIn Red Bluff\, we’ll keep things easy with a potluck on the first night and a pancake and sausage breakfast on Saturday morning. We will also suggest a no-host dinner in town for anyone who would like to join in. \n\n\n\nWe planned the Red Bluff Rendezvous takes place the same weekend as Kool April Nites in Redding\, California\, about 30 minutes north. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a vintage trailer weekend with the added bonus of one of the area’s biggest classic car events nearby. https://koolaprilnites.com/ \n\n\n\nThere will not be t-shirts\, stickers\, vendors\, formal check-in\, or a packed activity schedule. The idea is simple: a reasonably priced vintage trailer gathering where old and new friends can get together\, share stories\, enjoy good company\, and take advantage of nearby activities. \n\n\n\nWhile there will not be an Open House to the public\, participants are welcome to bring swap meet parts\, vintage trailer items\, and decorative pieces to trade with other campers. Friends and family are also welcome to stop by and visit. \n\n\n\nIf you are attending and would like to organize a group activity or social event\, let us know as far in advance as possible. We’re happy to add it to this website so others can plan around it. \n\n\n\nSecurty will be provided overnight for the rally. \n\n\n\nHost Site 142. \n\n\n\nVintage\, retro and modern trailers and RVs are Welcome. (Modern RVs in standard sites ONLY).
