SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 107th Winter Convention
DESCRIPTION:Greetings TCTers! \n\n\n\n     The 107th Annual Winter Convention Registration is officially open! (See registration forms below) We are happy to be returning to the Robinson Ranch right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between downtown Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to book early as we only have 130 elect/water sites\, in addition to a dry camping field\, and the event will fill up fast!  \n\n\n\nPlease note there are two different registration forms attached to this email\, one for attending the event with a trailer and one for those that want to attend but do not have a trailer and wish to stay nearby by acquiring their own accommodations and attending the daily rally events with a gate pass.  \n\n\n\n DATES: \n\n\n\nThe official convention dates will be February 19-22\, 2026 with February 18th being an optional early arrival day. Remember\, like last year no member will be allowed to arrive on site earlier than the 18th of February as this venue is not a public RV park and we are only contracted to have our members arrive on the specific rally days. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the general area earlier\, you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park/state park until the gates open at noon February 18th 2026. The venue has agreed that anyone that wants to stay a night or two AFTER the official rally may do so for an additional $30.00 per night paid in person to the venue host (Dave) at the conclusion of the event. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN: \n\n\n\nTCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between noon-4:30pm EST if possible and please be patient as we direct all rigs during parking. Official check in will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsite parking is all ‘First Come First Served’. There is the option of registering for a 30 amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will be allowed in the Dry Camping area only\, and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm only please. There is a dump station on site for all members to use.   \n\n\n\nThere is a bathhouse onsite and there will be additional port-o-lets for the dry camping area\, pavilion\, and those sites furthest from the main bathhouse. \n\n\n\n If you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-430pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\n Attending without a trailer (Staying elsewhere): \n\n\n\n Attention TCTers! Is your rig not quite ready to roll or you are still searching for your rig? Need a place to stay near the Tin Can Tourists 107th Winter Convention in Dunnellon\, Florida? SUMMARY:Mercantile Outdoor Market
DESCRIPTION:Come join our fun event at the base of the great Adirondack Park in beautiful Upstate New York! Foothills Mercantile is located in Barneveld\, New York and every year we have a great outdoor event with handpicked artisans\, vintage campers\, vintage trucks and cars\, local food trucks\, music and of course our vintage and antique vendors that are outside AND inside. We have about 50 vendors inside the store which is a huge red barn year round! We are located on Route 12 that takes you right to the Adirondacks and we get A LOT of traffic the weekend that we hold it on which is Saturday\, Sept. 27th\, because there is another big event about 10 miles north that pulls a lot people up for all over the state. They either stop at ours on their way up North or happily come back to ours for all of the unique vendors and talented artists! We have a campgrounds just 10 minutes away that will happily accommodate you right on the West Canada Creek that is popular for tubing down the river! We hope you will consider joining us and if you do\, please e-mail me at daisydesignsofcny@gmail.com and be sure to spread the word! There is no charge for the vintage campers. Please do not hesitate to ask any questions…thanks so much\, Carolee

SUMMARY:TCT’s SHADOW OF THE BEAR
DESCRIPTION:It’s the time of year when our thoughts drift to Michigan in September and TCT’s Shadow Of The Bear Rally. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHey there!Good news and more good news about the location of this year’s rally.  Our beloved Orchard Beach State Park Campground will close the 1st of September.  The good news:  they will undertake upgrades to the bathrooms.  (Including the oldest bathroom with the teeny tiny shower.)  While we are disappointed we will miss all the wonderful that is Orchard Beach\, we are pleased to let you know we will hold our 2025 rally a bit further north and closer to the Sleeping Bear National Park. Our “more good news” is: “Welcome to Roadville’s” Timberline Campground in Benzonia\, MI will be the site of our 9th Annual Shadow Of The Bear Rally.  They have been wonderful to work with! The Rally will return to Orchard Beach State Park for our 10th Annual Rally in 2026. \n\n\n\nOur Rally Hosts are:  Rebecca Shrode & Paul Lashbrook \n\n\n\nContact info:  e-mail is Rebecca@BrookRode.com or send a message to https://www.facebook.com/RebeccaShrode \n\n\n\nText#:  (574) 250-8712 \n\n\n\nMuch of our rally will retain its unique character.  We will gather for Koffee & Kabitzing and breakfast to share our day plans and then again for dinner to share the day’s adventures with one another. As always\, because the local area is so beautiful\, our agenda allows for lots of “touristing” time.  \n\n\n\nNOTES FOR SOTB ‘25:  \n\n\n\n\nDue to popular request: the times for Koffee & Kibitzing\, Breakfast\, and Dinner will move back to a little later time.  The time changes should allow us to sleep in a bit more and do more touristing.\n\n\n\nThe area surrounding our rally is so beautiful and a destination itself. All of us may well be away from the campground most of the day. \n\n\n\nIf you are going to stay at the campground\, would you like for some games\, puzzles\, or other diversions to be  set up? Let us know!\n\n\n\nIf you have been to a TCT gathering\, and experienced a game or other activity\, you would like to see at SOTB\, zip us a note.\n\n\n\nOur “Early Bird/Meet & Greet Dinner” will be on Thursday the 18th and our “Hell No We Won’t Go” Dinner and sunset viewing will be on Sunday the 21st.\n\n\n\n\nMAKING A RESERVATION:       1) Timberline Campground is holding the following campsites for us:  57\, 58\, 59\, 61\, 78\, 79\, 91\, 92\, 93\, 99\, 100\, 101\, 102\, 114\, 115\, 116A.  The campground worked hard to our sites as close as is possible.  \n\n\n\n   \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n           The sites are highlighted on the map included in the attachment to this e-mail.  The campsite map included is an older one. Please work with the staff as they were in the process of renumbering the sites when we talked.    \n\n\n\n You can trust they will get us on the correct sites.  \n\n\n\n       2)  Each site has water & electric and costs $44 week nights (Sun thru Thurs) & $46 weekends (Fri & Sat). \n\n\n\n       3)  Please call the campground this week (April 20th to April 26th) at (231) 882-9548 to make a reservation.  \n\n\n\nPlease let them know you are with TCT’s Vintage Trailer Club so they know where to place you. \n\n\n\nOffice hours:  Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM \n\n\n\nFriday – Saturday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM \n\n\n\nSunday: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM \n\n\n\n       4)  After you’ve reserved your site\, please zip us a text\, e-mail\, or FB Messenger to let us know your site #.  \n\n\n\n9th Annual TCT Shadow Of The Bear Rally e-mail.docxDownload\n\n\n\nQuestions?  Please ask. \n\n\n\nSee you in September! \n\n\n\nSafe travels! \n\n\n\nRebecca Shrode & Paul Lashbrook

SUMMARY:5th Annual Thumbs Up Rally
DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, the rally sold out in two days. \n\n\n\nThis rally is always the last full weekend in July! \n\n\n\nHow to be added to the waitlist for the rally – Go here https://huroncountyparks.com/waiting-list to join the list\, or email info@huroncountyparks.com or leave a message at 888-265-2583 \n\n\n\n—– \n\n\n\nYou must be a TCT Member to attend this event. You can join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nIn previous years\, we had a large amount of non-members that somehow booked sites. Please do not share the registration link with friends\, you are taking away opportunities from our TCT members. That is the purpose of the rally. If you want to camp with personal friends\, you can do that any weekend. If you have friends that want to camp with us during the rally\, just have them join the club – it really is that simple. \n\n\n\nWagener County Park staff love having us at their beautiful park on Lake Huron and have invited us back in 2025.  \n\n\n\nRegistration Process: \n\n\n\nRegistration will open on November 2nd\, 2024. Complete these TWO simple steps: \n\n\n\n\nLINK TO REGISTER – Do not share the information on social media.\n\n\n\nEmail us at tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what site you booked to be included on the roster.\n\n\n\n\nA modest rally fee of $10 will be collected at the park to pay for morning coffee & treats and a few activities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHere is the 2025 AGENDA \n\n\n\n2025 Thumbs Up RallyDownload\n\n\n\nMake sure you read and understand their refund rules for the campsites. \n\n\n\nROSTER as of 7/22/25 \n\n\n\nSite #Name1Marty Bryan2Jennie and Roger Merkle3Gene & Sharol Brechtelsbauer4Jennifer Colling & Byron Leach5Stephanie & Herman Barnum6Diana Hadad & Michael Pierce7Jan Roselle8Terry & Michelle Bone9Kirk & Beth Olmsted10Jason & Angie Black11Tami & Jake Moomey12Cassie & Matt Padding (Kenlie and Braxton13Jim and Nancy Warner14Bob & Doreen Bergman15Terri Sibo & Alicia Barnes16Jeff & Michele Miller17Dave & Amy Fiore18Michael & Kim Marlowe19Jay Ward20Terry & Michele Fleming21aKim & Brian McCool21Lori & Barry Harris22Sandy Mastin & Steve Brown23Sherrie Smith24Debra Schrader25Sharon & Paul Sikenga26Steve & Patty Collins27?28Kathi & Al Waters29Roo & Amanda Ryan30Jenny & Jason Senior31Kim Sensiba32Todd and Amy Smith33Errica Shanahan34Dalton & Barb Colling35Stacey Peake36Traci Howden37Gayle Richards and Alison38Brian Hake39?40?41Kim & Dan Renkema42Dale & Marie Patten43Carol Baidinger44Mark & Nu Ehgotz45Bruce and Tammy Patchett46Paul & Jane Carson47TBD48?49Christine Chojnowski & mother50Kim McKnee51Wendy Rupp52Ryan & Carolyn Counterman53Eddie Byrnes & Jessica Kearney54Raija Kearney (Jessica’s Dau55TBD56Cindy Smith and Linda Bader57?58Stephen and Janet Pinkham59TBD60Lisa Heileman61Shelley Norris62Dave Finet & Marya Sosulski63Gary & Carol Higgins64Frank & Marie Sanborn65?66Marsha & Chris Pashadlo67Barry & Celia Kole68Jeanne & Brian 101Marcia and Will Mangold102Brian & Wendy Gatschene103AVAILABLE104David & Sucile Mellor105AVAILABLE\n\n\n\nSend an email to Terry & Michelle Bone – tct1919@gmail.com with your name\, site number and trailer information
