SUMMARY:2nd Annual Rally With The Gators
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the 2nd. Annual Rally With The Gators at Fisheating Creek Outpost. Twenty sites have been set aside for TCT on a first come first serve basis. Call the office\, (863) 675-5999\, tell them you are with TCT and they will help you select a site. Do not bother reserving online. We have sites on rows B\,C\,D &F. There is a narrow 14 day window starting Saturday 2/18 and ending on Saturday 3/4 to secure all the sites\, after that they go back on the market. The short time frame for reserving sites is a policy of Fisheating Creek. The inauguaral event was a big hit and we look forward to the 2nd. Annual to be even better. After you have secured a site go to the main TCT webpage and find the event under the rally tab. Download the registration\, fill it out and send it to the address indicated. Hope to see you there \n\n\n\nRally-At-Fisheating-Creek-Outpost-Registration-2024Download

SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 105th Winter Convention
DESCRIPTION:The 105th Annual Winter Convention Registration is open!  We have a new home for the TCT Winter Convention which will be the Private Robinson Ranch located in a pristine old Florida setting right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to send your TCT registration early as we only have 130 elect/water sites in addition to a dry camping field. There is a dump station on site and a bath house in the park. Do Not contact the park and please only coordinate through Tim Heintz / Tin Can Tourists.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATES:The official convention dates will be February 21-25\, 2024 with February 21st being an optional early arrival day. This year no rigs will be allowed to arrive earlier than the 21st of February as this venue is not a public RV park so we are only allowed to have our members arrive on the official dates contracted for the rally. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the area earlier you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park until the convention gates open at 11:00am on February 21st 2024. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN:TCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between 11:00am-5:00pm EDT if possible and please be patient as we direct rigs to the sites. Official registration will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive on site by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsites are all ‘First Come First Serve’. This year we have the option of registering for a 30amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will only be allowed in the Dry Camping area and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm. There is a dump station on site for all members to use. \n\n\n\nIf you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-5pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\nOFF SITE PARTICIPATES:There will even be a registration option for our members that may currently not have a camping rig to bring\, decide to travel without your rig\, staying in a hotel/Airbnb\, or even live nearby and just want to participate in the official daily rally activities. Select the ‘No Camping Spot’ option on the registration form (Plus additional guests if applicable) and you may still participate in all of the official events with an event gate pass. You will still receive an official rally bag\, t-shirt(s)\, meals\, etc. \n\n\n\nVOLUNTEERS:We always need volunteers to help during the event. If you would like to volunteer\, please let us know by email\, sign up during official registration or with one of the TCT officials after you arrive. Volunteers will be needed to help set-up\, gate registration\, break-down\, check meal tickets\, serve meals\, meal clean up\, open house gate attendants\, etc… \n\n\n\nSCHEDULE: THIS YEAR’S THEME….. The 1980’s!There are many events planned during the 105th Winter Convention including a 1980’s Movie Night\, early morning 30 minute 80’s aerobic workout 1980’s Dance Party\, and so much more! Plenty of time to find those awesome 80’s outfits deep in your closets! \n\n\n\nSOCIAL MEDIA/UPDATES: \n\n\n\nThe TCT 105th Winter Convention does have an event page on Facebook. Feel free to use that page for any ‘pop-up events’ you want to host or list outside of our regular schedule of events such as nightly campfires at certain site numbers\, times to gather at the pavilion for playing cards\, puzzles\, happy hours\, etc.… or even just carpooling trips for store / supply runs in town.  ‘Click here for a link to the official winter conventionpage’ \n\n\n\nThanks again to all members for their patience and cooperation this year with relocating the Winter Convention once again to a new venue\, we are pretty sure we have found a new long-term home! It has been a very challenging couple of years but be assured your TCT officials are working year long to provide you with the best event possible! \n\n\n\nIf you have any questions or concerns please email TCT.Heintz@Gmail.com

SUMMARY:2024 27th Annual Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Gathering Rally of the Tin Can Tourists is the oldest\, longest running vintage trailer rally in the country. \n\n\n\nWhat’s new for 2024?\n\n\n\n\nYou can pay by credit card this year if you’d prefer. The process to use your credit card will be that you fill out the registration form and send it by email. Once received we will create an invoice for the amount owed and email that to you for payment. Please complete the payment of the invoice once received. \n\n\n\nRally T-Shirt – you can order a rally t-shirt as part of registration. The t-shirt is designed by a TCT member (Carolle Spence) and we will have fabric markers available throughout the rally for you to color and personalize your shirt. \n\n\n\nThere is no “fall hold” this year to reserve your site for the fall rally. We had to track down too many people to pay their rally fee and/or the camping fees and we don’t want to do that again. Fall registration will open July 1st.\n\n\n\nCzapski’s Kitchen Cafe & Catering will be providing the catered meal on Friday night. We are excited to find a local Milford restaurant with a great selection to feed us before we hit the dance floor.\n\n\n\nBack by popular demand\, The Icemen Band featuring our very own Chuck Rivet will be rocking the tent on Friday night\n\n\n\nThe theme committee chose “Dress like Stanley & Helen Roper” as the theme this year. Start your thrifting for sweater vests and kaftans now!\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Form and Process\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION CLOSED ON MAY 1st \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\n2024-27th-Annual-GatheringDownload\n\n\n\nRoster\n\n\n\n103 sites filled\, 185 people attending \n\n\n\nSITE #Name3Coats6Johnson9Richards11Gelletly16Celini18McKnee19Martin20Jernigan21Brown22Byrnes25Kole28Frame37Higgins43Hake44Shanahan45Bergman46Smiley47Hindley48Haneckow49OConnor50Hershberger51Bailey53Garlow54Solsbury55Curtis56Chetcuti57White II58Warren59Haeske61Kelly65Murphy66Kessler67Kennedy68Fredlund69Fillwock71Binkley72Krusac74Ferkany75Dettmann80Senior81Carlton82Starner84Cavanaugh92Gould94DuHame96Warner97Broxon98Miller99Truitt100Brechtelsbauer101DuHame102Mackie103Cousins105Howard106Brian108Bone109COFFEE STATION110Chabot111Elsey112Demane/Plosker113McFarland114Rivet115Roth116Eliot117Kane118Sandin119Brown120Poshadlo121Koenig122Williams123Mangold126Nelson130Miklautsch131Lidster132Gruener133Smith134Waters135Turner136Thomas137Fodell138Schrader139Rodzewicz140Piper141Diller142Cushing143Spycher144Sanborn145Coulter146Pray147Kwapich148Wendt150Klauss151Fiore152Sibo153Dunn154Chojnowski155McCool156Ryan157McCool158CAMP DEARBORN159Black160Moomey161Olmsted\n\n\n\nFacebook group for the event: TCT Spring and Fall Rallies (Camp Dearborn – Milford Michigan) | Facebook \n\n\n\nHere is a map of the campground\n\n\n\ncampdearbornmap \n\n\n\n“No Burn Zone”\n\n\n\nThe “no burn zone” is a small area that we don’t allow campfires to protect the trailers that are not resistant to sparks or embers. SUMMARY:2024 Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. Join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nIn 2024\, the campground is blocking off 50 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get your camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe Group Hold code has expired – the process now is to get any campsite available and then go to step 2. \n\n\n\nGROUP HOLD: Lumberjack2024 \n\n\n\nThe hold code applies to 50 sites that are grouped together for the club. You are more than welcome to get any other site that is nearby if you’d prefer or if you have a need that another site might provide – like a 50amp site\, handicap site or a site closer to the bathroom/showers. \n\n\n\nSITE 136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nSITE 194 – Morning Coffee: Steve Brown & Sandy Masten (no dogs allowed at coffee) \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Molkky Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nTentative Agenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for Coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for Molkky tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n\n8am – Coffee at site 194 – bring a mug and leave your dog at your trailer\n\n\n\n2pm – Molkky Tournament – prizes for the winning team! \n\n\n\n6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. Bring a beverage and we will have snacks at the pavilion. Find a spot for the musical program.\n\n\n\n7pm – Musical program Friday night\, June 14 at 7:00. Mike Fornes will be performing solo parts of his Gordon Lightfoot Tribute.  The program will be outside at the pavilion at the visitors’ center.  Bring a chair or blanket. Program will last about an hour. \n\n\n\n\nLightfoot-tributeDownload\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\n\n\n\n\n8am – Coffee at site 194 – bring a mug and leave your dog at your trailer\n\n\n\n9am – GAME/CHALLENGE/CRAFT TBD\n\n\n\nNoon – 3pm Open House for other campers in the park to view our trailers\n\n\n\nDinner on your own\n\n\n\nDusk – Invite your neighbor to a camp fire\n\n\n\n\nSunday\n\n\n\n\n8am – Coffee at site 194 – bring a mug and leave your dog at your trailer\n\n\n\nPack up and goodbyes\n\n\n\n\nAttendees \n\n\n\n5/27/24 – 54 Sites Reserved \n\n\n\nTBD means the site is reserved but we haven’t received an email yet \n\n\n\nSite #Name19Connie Kubiak & Barney Martin81Carole Mason119120Dennis & Gail Atkins121123Mike & Carolyn Coats124125Linda Stillwell & Dan Miller126131133Chris Brown & Molly Bacon134Gina & Darin Wilcox135Kathleen & Kathleen Beaudoin136Terry & Michelle Bone137Elizabeth Stahl & Jeff Wentworth138Kathleen Hibbard & Dale Schneider139Karen & Greg Koenig140Cathi & John Kwapich141Linda & Ron Wendt142Kim Sensiba143Jerry and Kathy Roth144Nan Engel145Errica Shanahan146Brad & Peggy Williams147Pam Haffenden148149Bob & Diane Stehouwer150Jim & Nancy Warner151Jeannie & Jim Smiley152Dalton & Barb Colling153Michelle & Jon Territo154Jennifer Colling & Byron Leach155Gary and Carol Higgins156Stephanie Barnum157Julie & Huey Husted158Bev Earls159Rick and Linda Smith161Aby & Lena Nogueras165Terri Sibo-Koenig & Alicia Barnes181Lori Harris188Phil & Denise Rusinowski189Shelley Norris191Tom & Mary Mills193Gayle Richards194Sandy Masten & Steve Brown195Roger & Jennie Merkle197Shirley & Harold Vanden Berge199Bob & Doreen Bergman201Amy & Dave Fiore203Todd & Amy Smith205Sandy & Jim Barrett207Julie Rogier209Brian & Kim McCool212Jeff & Michele Miller213Beth & Kirk Olmsted214Paul & Jame Carson215Mike & Cheryl O’Connor216Kathi Waters\n\n\n\nRally fee will be $10 to help cover the pavilion costs and the costs of coffee/treats and supplies that we will bring. SUMMARY:2024 CwC Summer Campout
DESCRIPTION:We had such a great time last year decided to do it one more year at Chenango Valley State Park. Laid back group campout. Make your own reservations but so that we don’t all try for the same site I will start a post for everyone to pick their site. . I will probably do a week because I want to play golf. This is a great park and the loop we camp in Pine bluff is an excellent spot. that’s a little more secluded for our group. I am going to look into renting the pavilion above Pine bluff for a potluck brunch. Or I may find out if I can put a 10×20 carport up in the grassy area and get in a couple extra picnic tables for that which would be easier.
