SUMMARY:Illinois Route 66 Mother Road Festival Vintage Camper Rally and Festival Display
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the first Illinois Mother Road Vintage Camper Rally in Springfield\, IL\, as we celebrate the lure of the open highway at The International Route 66 Mother Road Festival. We’ll camp in a grassy area at the Illinois State Fair Campgrounds\, just blocks from the Mother Road Festival and historic Lincoln attractions. Preference will be given to vintage campers (RVs\, camping trailers\, truck campers\, etc.) from 1979 and earlier\, but campers from the 1980s will be welcome if space allows. The fee is $80 for one vintage camper and one person. Add $5 for each additional person in the same camper. The fee includes 3 nights camping (water & electric) and rally activities.   \nIn addition\, for the first time ever\, vintage campers are invited to display their rigs at the International Route 66 Mother Road Festival in downtown Springfield on Saturday\, September 24. The fee for this event is $25\, and registration is from 7 to 9 a.m. the morning of the event at the festival organizer’s tent located at 6th and Cook. Campers are asked to remain at the festival until at least 6 PM.  No hook-ups are provided.    \nEnjoy one or both of these events! (You may display your vintage camper at the Mother Road Festival even if you are not participating in the Vintage Camper Rally.)

DESCRIPTION:Greetings one and all! \n\n\n\nWe are very excited for The Shadow Of The Bear Rally’s return to Orchard Beach State Park.  The park and Tin Can Tourists have been friends for over a century.  Last year\, a lot of you expressed a strong desire to return to Orchard Beach.  We listened and took action.  Now the Pavilion has been moved\, we can safely enjoy our meals there.  All of us – as many of us as are in attendance.  The park’s rangers have recommended a block of sites for our gathering. DESCRIPTION:Bring your vintage (any model before ’85) RV or trailer for a weekend rally at Deception Pass State Park. This year is all about the park’s 100th anniversary of being a state park so we want you to bring your piece of history to help us celebrate. \n\n\n\nCamping is in the Forest Loop of the Cranberry Lake Campground right in the heart of the park. All sites have full hookup and we do have two sites that are ADA accessible. The price for registration covers participation in the rally and camping at the park for two nights. You have to register for both nights even if you only want to camp for one. \n\n\n\nFriday is hospitality night sponsored by Deception Pass Tours\, and Saturday is the open house from 11 AM to 3 PM. DESCRIPTION:PDF registration for this year’s SAF Rally\, July 21-24 at the Elkhart Campground\, in Elkhart\, Indiana.   \n\n\n\nSAF-Summer-Registration-2022Download\n\n\n\nAs mentioned in the introduction letter and application\, please try to have this back to me by July 1\, so I can finalize the number of sites with the campground.  In 2021\, we ended up with 30 units from across the country. As of right now\, we will be following the same safety guidelines as suggested by the State of Indiana and the CDC.  The cost for the Rally this year is $25 per person\, as indicated on the application.  This cost is to cover the cost of food\, activities and the rally room\, which is adjacent to our rally area.  A discounted camping fee of $40/nt (for two persons) will be payable directly to Elkhart Campground upon arrival only!  Please do not call the campground ahead of time to pay as they will not accept your payment. All sites are full hookups and will be assigned within our group area upon arrival at the request of Elkhart Campground. Once I receive your application\, I will add you to the attendee list and e-mail you a receipt.  I will also add you to a separate e-mail list of attendees\, so I can continue to send out details of this year’s rally as they unfold.  I have had a couple of people e-mail me with special requests.  I will try to accommodate these as best as possible.  I have asked the campground to block the six closest sites to the rally room for those with special needs.  Please make a note of this when you return your application and check so I can notify the campground.If you plan to arrive early or stay beyond the rally\, please indicate that on your form\, so I can give the campground a heads up.  I have had a lot of interest and have been assured by Elkhart Campground that we will be located together as a group.  Also\, please check with your friends who plan on coming this year to make sure they have received the application.  If this is your first time attending the rally\, please make a note on the application. SUMMARY:2022 Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. Join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nLast year the park set aside 30 sites for us and we ended up with 44 attending. In 2022\, they are setting aside 40 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get you camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe group hold code expired at the end of February – so now you’ll need to just get a site the old fashioned way and try to get as close as possible to the group. As of 3/2/22 there were still about 6 sites in the general area (138\, 139\, 141\, 147\, 159\, 161) \n\n\n\n136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Cornhole Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for packaged TCT coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for cornhole tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n2pm – Cornhole Tournament – prizes for the winning team! Raffles of items from the community and campground – There is a $25 gift card to Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant which is just down the road from the park; two buy one get one free pizza certificates from BC Pizza and one get a free pizza from BC which is on the corner of M 115 and M55; a $20 certificate from a coffee shop which is in the plaza on the corner of M 115 and M 55. They have some baked good and other things besides coffee.  Also a few trinkets from the campground gift shop.6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. Bring a beverage and we will have snacks at the pavilion. Find a spot for the musical program.7pm – Musical program Friday night\, June 10 at 7:00.  The program will be outside at the pavilion at the visitors’ center.  Bring a chair or blanket. We will collect the rally fee when you pick up the welcome package! \n\n\n\nThe rally theme is “Lumberjack” to honor the logging industry and the reason the canal between the two lakes was built to float the logs to the mills that were on Lake Cadillac and the nearby railroad. DESCRIPTION:Hello! \nI am reaching out to see if a camper or few might want to display at our 31st Annual Caro Cars & Crafts Fest June 3 & 4.  We are looking to add a little new stuff to the mix this year!\nTraditionally we hold a car/Bike etc show on Saturday\, This year June 4.  Registration at 8:30 with the show being 10 – 3.  This year\, to celebrate Caros Chamber of Commerces’ 100th year \nanniversary\, we are adding a car cruise on Friday\, June 3rd.  Line up at 4\, Cruise starts at 5.\nThere is a big concert and party at the Moose that night\, and there are camping spots available there\, as well as other campgrounds in our area. \nI’ve attached some info and we would LOVE it if we could get a few vintage campers for our show!!!\nFriday June 3 Car Cruise and ConcertSaturday June 4 Cars & Craft Show

DESCRIPTION:It’s that time again! Make your reservations to attend the Vintage Gathering at beautiful PJ Hoffmaster State Park!  \n\n\n\nThis year’s event will begin on Thursday June 2nd through Sunday the 5th. Reservations can be made starting on December 2nd using the group hold code on the State Parks website. You must have an account to log in and book a site. The rally will be held in the back loop again (sites 1-132). This year’s rally will be very much like last year’s\, no provided meals or entertainment\, also no rally fee! Just book your site and show up to camp with friends! There will be an open house on Saturday if you choose to participate\, other than that enjoy the beach\, Muskegon\, and your fellow campers! SUMMARY:2022 Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally
DESCRIPTION:We imagine that\, like us\, many of you are starting to mark off your calendars for vintage camping and other adventures in 2022. We are excited to give you this update on our First Annual (we hope) Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally to be held June 2-5\, 2022\, at the Ozark Outdoors Resort near Leasburg Missouri. \n\n\n\nWe have set up a Facebook page under Missouri Loves Company where we will be posting additional information about the Rally as developments occur. Please check it periodically for updates. \n\n\n\nIn case you haven’t seen the news on our Facebook Page\, Ozark Outdoor Resorts has just released its rates for 2022 so IT IS TIME TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT for the first ever Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally in Leasburg Mo. The dates are June 2-5 (arrive Thursday\, depart Sunday). We have blocked a total of 20 contiguous sites for the rally group. They are sites 1612-1622 and 1512-1521. To reserve your site please call the resort at 573 245-6837.   7 of the sites are already reserved so do not delay. The sites are currently reserved under Kathy and Bob West. When you call\, they will switch your site to your name. We have learned that there was a recent change of ownership and so sometimes they seem a little confused. If you have any trouble\, feel free to call us and we will try to help.     \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in making reservations for floating the river\, you may want to do so now.        \n\n\n\nIN ORDER TO BE SURE YOUR SITE IS WITH THE RALLY GROUP YOU MUST MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE MARCH 10\, 2022\, SO DO NOT DELAY.  The cost for each site is $152.08 for the 3 nights. There will also be a rally fee of $20.00 per site which we will collect at the rally. If you wish to pay it sooner feel free to mail us a check payable to Bob and Kathy West. Send it to 18207 Sheerin Road\, Pacific MO 63069. \n\n\n\nWe plan to provide coffee and donuts Friday and Saturday morning. We are working on the logistics for a potluck dinner Saturday night. We do not plan to advertise this outside of the park\, but we anticipate that we will get visits from other interested campers. Participation is voluntary. The area consists of Sites – 45 to 54 – these sites are restricted for trailers that have features that make them flammable.
