SUMMARY:2022 Lumberjack Rally at Mitchell State Park
DESCRIPTION:This is a Tin Can Tourists official event and you must be a member of the club to use the group hold and attend the event. Join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nLast year the park set aside 30 sites for us and we ended up with 44 attending. In 2022\, they are setting aside 40 sites for us to group closer together. The park loved having us and were really supportive of the event. \n\n\n\nRegistration Process\n\n\n\nStep 1) Get you camp site using the Michigan State Park Reservation System (https://www.midnrreservations.com/) or by calling 1-800-447-2757 (1-800-44PARKS) \n\n\n\nThe group hold code expired at the end of February – so now you’ll need to just get a site the old fashioned way and try to get as close as possible to the group. As of 3/2/22 there were still about 6 sites in the general area (138\, 139\, 141\, 147\, 159\, 161) \n\n\n\n136 – Host: Terry and Michelle Bone \n\n\n\nStep 2) RSVP that you’re attending by emailing tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what campsite you ended up with – we’d like to know how many are coming for the welcome packets and coffee/treat planning! \n\n\n\nThis is a casual weekend and open house (12-3pm) to get introduced to the state park and local community. We will be planning on a few group activities: Cornhole Tournament\, a Happy Hour\, New Member initiation\, and coffee will be provided. Agenda will be posted a few months out from the event. \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\nThursday\n\n\n\n6pm Pickup – Welcome Packet at Rally Host Campsite (136) – collecting $10 rally fee for packaged TCT coffee / Morning Treats and cocktail hour snacks. Register for cornhole tournament – individuals will be randomly paired with other TCT members.\n\n\n\nFriday\n\n\n\n2pm – Cornhole Tournament – prizes for the winning team! Raffles of items from the community and campground – There is a $25 gift card to Burke’s Waterfront Restaurant which is just down the road from the park; two buy one get one free pizza certificates from BC Pizza and one get a free pizza from BC which is on the corner of M 115 and M55; a $20 certificate from a coffee shop which is in the plaza on the corner of M 115 and M 55. They have some baked good and other things besides coffee.  Also a few trinkets from the campground gift shop.6pm – New Member Orientation and Cocktail hour. Bring a beverage and we will have snacks at the pavilion. DESCRIPTION:We imagine that\, like us\, many of you are starting to mark off your calendars for vintage camping and other adventures in 2022. We are excited to give you this update on our First Annual (we hope) Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally to be held June 2-5\, 2022\, at the Ozark Outdoors Resort near Leasburg Missouri. \n\n\n\nWe have set up a Facebook page under Missouri Loves Company where we will be posting additional information about the Rally as developments occur. Please check it periodically for updates. \n\n\n\nIn case you haven’t seen the news on our Facebook Page\, Ozark Outdoor Resorts has just released its rates for 2022 so IT IS TIME TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT for the first ever Missouri Loves Company Vintage Camper Rally in Leasburg Mo. The dates are June 2-5 (arrive Thursday\, depart Sunday). We have blocked a total of 20 contiguous sites for the rally group. They are sites 1612-1622 and 1512-1521. To reserve your site please call the resort at 573 245-6837.   7 of the sites are already reserved so do not delay. The sites are currently reserved under Kathy and Bob West. When you call\, they will switch your site to your name. We have learned that there was a recent change of ownership and so sometimes they seem a little confused. If you have any trouble\, feel free to call us and we will try to help.     \n\n\n\nIf you are interested in making reservations for floating the river\, you may want to do so now.        \n\n\n\nIN ORDER TO BE SURE YOUR SITE IS WITH THE RALLY GROUP YOU MUST MAKE YOUR RESERVATION BEFORE MARCH 10\, 2022\, SO DO NOT DELAY.  The cost for each site is $152.08 for the 3 nights. There will also be a rally fee of $20.00 per site which we will collect at the rally. If you wish to pay it sooner feel free to mail us a check payable to Bob and Kathy West. DESCRIPTION:1) Please pay Rally Fee to Alex Alexander (at turquoise T@B teardrop trailer) when you arrive. Fee = $25.00 for one rig with 2 people and $15.00 for one rig with 1 person (Cash & exact change please). Rally Fees will pay for food & supplies furnished during the rally. Any leftover will be donated to St. Agathas Episcopal Church\, (SAEC)\, which is hosting us. (Remember\, there is no sitefee to camp) Feel free if you would like to make an additional donation to St. Agathas\, (contact Alex or Mendy). Sites have water & electric – NO SEWER or Dump Station. \n\n\n\n2) We will park “end to end” on the street in order of arrival. Move tow vehicle as soon as your rig is parked. \n\n\n\n3) All times are noted in Central Time Zone. It’s cold this time of year — Bring warm clothing! \n\n\n\n4) NOTE: There will be a public open house on Saturday\, January 22. (Wear a mask. Place a rope across your door or keep the door closed if you don’t want folks entering your trailer). \n\n\n\n5) NOTE: We will have a campfire along the sidewalk most nights. SUMMARY:TCT Mingle and Jingle 2021
DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There will be no registration nor a rally fee with TCT\, but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite for this event. The nightly fee for TCT is $35 with full hookups\, pickle ball and shuffle ball courts and use of a big beautiful clubhouse. Tell them you are with TCT as they will be grouping us together. Reservations will accepted starting April 19th 2021 for a 90 day period ending July 19th 2021. Do not call before April 19th to make a reservation. The reservation window may be expanded depending on the number of confirmed reservations. At this time Oak Alley is blocking out 40 sites for TCT. All TCTers are encouraged to bring your Christmas decorations for your trailer. SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 1st Annual Vintage Liftoff Rally !
DESCRIPTION:Blast off at the 1st. Annual Tin Can Tourists Liftoff Rally. Located on Florida’s Space Coast along the shore of the Indian River LagoonManatee Hammock is a shaded and quiet hammock of pines and palms. The park features a fishing pier\, pavilion and a perfect view of the Kennedy Space Center. Depending on the launch schedule we may be able to view a launch during the rally !The camping fee as of Sept. 2020 is $29 which includes all taxes. \n\n\n\nThe camping fee is separate from the the rally fee. The campground has 166 full hookup sites and 20 with water and electric only. Reservations can be made starting one year before the rally date. Be aware that November is the start of their winter season so be sure to reserve asap. First come\, first serve! If you wait until close to the November 2021 rally date you will probably be out of luck. \n\n\n\nSome recommended sites are: 58-64\, 69-78\, 80-84\, 127-139\, 156-162. You can reserve online or give the campground a call and they will help you choose a site. 1-321-264-5083. You will be charged a $20 cancellation fee if you cancel 10 days prior to your reservation date.  \n\n\n\nThe rally fee is $20 per trailer for Tin Can Tourists members.
