DESCRIPTION:Calling all vintage trailer owners. We will be returning to Bartow Florida January 21st & 22nd 2022 for the Bartow Friday Night Street Fest and Saturday open house. There will be food and drink vouchers for each camper\, music both days as well as an Antique Market on Saturday. Our rigs will open for showing on Friday night and again on Saturday. We will camp in the street overnight on Friday. Power will be provided for basic needs excluding A/C. Bartow would like to have a minimum of 20 trailers participate so please consider joining us. DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There will be no registration nor a rally fee with TCT\, but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite for this event. The nightly fee for TCT is $35 with full hookups\, pickle ball and shuffle ball courts and use of a big beautiful clubhouse. Tell them you are with TCT as they will be grouping us together. Reservations will accepted starting April 19th 2021 for a 90 day period ending July 19th 2021. Do not call before April 19th to make a reservation. The reservation window may be expanded depending on the number of confirmed reservations. At this time Oak Alley is blocking out 40 sites for TCT. All TCTers are encouraged to bring your Christmas decorations for your trailer. SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists 1st Annual Vintage Liftoff Rally !
DESCRIPTION:Blast off at the 1st. Annual Tin Can Tourists Liftoff Rally. Located on Florida’s Space Coast along the shore of the Indian River LagoonManatee Hammock is a shaded and quiet hammock of pines and palms. The park features a fishing pier\, pavilion and a perfect view of the Kennedy Space Center. Depending on the launch schedule we may be able to view a launch during the rally !The camping fee as of Sept. 2020 is $29 which includes all taxes. \n\n\n\nThe camping fee is separate from the the rally fee. The campground has 166 full hookup sites and 20 with water and electric only. Reservations can be made starting one year before the rally date. Be aware that November is the start of their winter season so be sure to reserve asap. First come\, first serve! If you wait until close to the November 2021 rally date you will probably be out of luck. \n\n\n\nSome recommended sites are: 58-64\, 69-78\, 80-84\, 127-139\, 156-162. You can reserve online or give the campground a call and they will help you choose a site. 1-321-264-5083. You will be charged a $20 cancellation fee if you cancel 10 days prior to your reservation date.  \n\n\n\nThe rally fee is $20 per trailer for Tin Can Tourists members. DESCRIPTION:Due to the cancelation of the annual Rollin Through the Decades Rally at TopSail Hill Preserve in Santa Rosa Beach Florida\, We have come up with a replacement campground/event the SAME WEEKEND for those that still want to camp. There is a private luxury RV park just 30 miles north of the TopSail event location (right off I-10) in DeFuniak Springs Florida that will welcome our group as a replacement park and has agreed to possibly work with us for future events after this year’s unofficial trial run. Unfortunately they do not offer senior discounts but the park is incredibly nice with a lot to do in and around Historical DeFuniak Springs. If anyone would like to camp with our group that will be at Twin Lakes RV Resort they may do so by calling Twin Lakes and booking a site for Oct 7-10 2021. https://twinlakescampresort.com/ Twin Lakes only allows RSVPs by phone so if you call with no answer please leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible\, remember they are on Central Time Zone. They also require a $50 non refundable / Non Transferable deposit for all reservations. I have personally camped at this park several times and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed\, they definitely have the best showers I have ever encountered at any RV park! DESCRIPTION:The 5th Annual TCT Shadow Of The Bear Rally @ Indigo Bluffs September 16th to 19th. (As always you are encouraged to arrive early and stay late.)  \n\n\n\nThe 2021 Shadow Of The Bear Rally will be a lot like the SOTB 2020 gathering. Due to COVID-19 and the Delta variant\, Open House\, Pot Lucks\, Koffee Klatches\, and group events at local restaurants have been cancelled for 2021. We look forward to their return in 2022.  \n\n\n\nFor 2021\, we will have an outside gathering area reserved for us near the pavilion. (This is a different location than 2020.) Just as in 2020\, there will be a food truck available on the campground. We would like to take our meals together in the outside gathering area. We encourage you to make your meals at your site and bring them to the common area to share time with one another. If you prefer\, the food truck will have delicious offerings for your enjoyment.  \n\n\n\nThe area surrounding Sleeping Bear Dunes is one of the most beautiful in all of America. DESCRIPTION:I am super excited to announce that we will be gathering at the Elk Creek Campground in Grand Lake for Fall colors and Constitution week.https://en-gb.facebook.com/events/grand-ave-grand-lake-co-80447-united-states/10th-annual-premier-constitution-week-celebration-in-america/434913024622118/Rocky Mountain National Park is just a few miles down the road\, the lakes are gorgeous (and they have affordable boat rentals on site!)\, and there are so many shops and restaurants to discover!The campground is absolutely beautiful\, clean facilities\, with spacious and private sites. As a bonus – the owners are the nicest people in the world!FINE PRINT:The dates are Thursday Sept 16 thru Sept 20. Do not feel pressured to reserve all 4 days – we realize that is not possible for everyone – you may reserve any range of dates that works best for you. We will have a “Meet and Greet” gathering on Friday evening\, and a pot luck Wah-dinger breakfast (I’ll show ya how) followed by Trailer Tours on Saturday morning. More info will be posted as we get closer to the event date.The campground will be taking a $100 non-refundable deposit. THIS MAY BE TRANSFERRED TO ANOTHER MEMBER IF YOU HAVE TO CANCEL. The campground will work very hard to make sure sites are transferred and everyone is taken care of. All reservations\, cancellations\, and transfers MUST go through the campground. Washington State’s Largest Vintage Trailer Rally held every year the weekend after Labor Day at the NW Washington Fairgrounds in Lynden\, WA. The Dates are Sept 7-13\, 2021. This is field camping with no assigned spots. We will open registration in March. Showers\, restrooms and a rv dump station are on site. Power and water is abundant and available for most everyone with extension cords and water splitters. Cost is: $35 per night plus a single rally fee of $15. (Add 3% for credit card payments). All are welcome to attend. Cost is all-inclusive Cost covers venue rental fees\, camping spots\, electrical and water\, RV dump\, insurance\, food and beverage items\, bathroom rentals\, etc. An itemized list will be posted at the Registration trailer. \n\n\n\nThe vision of the “Rally at the Falls 2021” event is to provide an opportunity for vintage trailer enthusiasts and friends to rally together for fun social activities and improving vintage trailer knowledge at a beautiful venue in downtown Great Falls\, Montana. The primary theme of the rally is the three “R’s” • Rescue (inspecting and transporting) • Restore (tear down\, components\, build plans\, layout\, rebuild\, finishing) • Rally (Towing\, camping\, and repairs) \n\n\n\nA “had better days” old canned ham trailer will be used for the rebuild and restore event. It will be disassembled on Friday and totally rebuilt on Saturday and Sunday. Participants can watch or can get “hand’s on” involved in the process as experienced rebuilders facilitate and guide the trailer rebuild. Key areas that will be covered and explained are electrical\, plumbing\, wood finishing interiors\, axles-bearing-brake-tires\, wood framing and insulation\, windows and vents\, metal prep and painting. There will be open Q & A throughout the build process. The vintage trailer will be sold on Tin Can Tourists and the proceeds will pay off the build materials costs and the remainder will be placed in the bank to support Rally at the Falls 2022. Venue information \n\n\n\nThe Montana Expo Park (http://www.goexpopark.com) is a multi-use facility operated by the city of Great Falls. It serves as host to the Montana State Fair which takes place just a few weeks before our scheduled rally. The city of Great Falls and the management at the Expo Park are enthusiastic supporters of the rally. \n\n\n\nThe Expo Park is a large complex made up of multiple sections. We have contracted for use of specific sections within the Expo Park for our rally. Our rally is classified as a private event versus a public event. Our camping sections are two smaller wooded parks within the complex that are set up for travel trailers and camping. The sections are called West Park and East Park. We also have Central Park that will be used for meetings\, activities and social events. We also have contracted a large building venue (Heritage building) for the vintage trailer rebuild and education event. Within our sections are multiple camping spots with electrical and water hookups. We will layout the parking within the parks to ensure all trailers has direct access to electricity. There are limited direct water hookups and we estimate (with adequate hose length) we can accommodate up to 16 parking spots that will have direct water hookup access. There are plenty of water fill points for those who just need to fill fresh water holding tanks. \n\n\n\nThere are bathroom and showers at the venue albeit slightly dated. We are contracting for additional bathroom facilities in our park sections for the rally. Showers are in an adjoining section and available. An RV septic dump site is located at the park. \n\n\n\nThere are a variety of restaurants and brew pubs located within walking distance of our venue. Activities \n\n\n\nWe want to offer a variety of options and opportunities for our friends to engage in while at the rally.
