(See registration forms below) We are happy to be returning to the Robinson Ranch right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between downtown Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to book early as we only have 130 elect/water sites\, in addition to a dry camping field\, and the event will fill up fast!  \n\n\n\nPlease note there are two different registration forms attached to this email\, one for attending the event with a trailer and one for those that want to attend but do not have a trailer and wish to stay nearby by acquiring their own accommodations and attending the daily rally events with a gate pass.  \n\n\n\n DATES: \n\n\n\nThe official convention dates will be February 19-22\, 2026 with February 18th being an optional early arrival day. Remember\, like last year no member will be allowed to arrive on site earlier than the 18th of February as this venue is not a public RV park and we are only contracted to have our members arrive on the specific rally days. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the general area earlier\, you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park/state park until the gates open at noon February 18th 2026. The venue has agreed that anyone that wants to stay a night or two AFTER the official rally may do so for an additional $30.00 per night paid in person to the venue host (Dave) at the conclusion of the event. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN: \n\n\n\nTCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between noon-4:30pm EST if possible and please be patient as we direct all rigs during parking. Official check in will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsite parking is all ‘First Come First Served’. There is the option of registering for a 30 amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will be allowed in the Dry Camping area only\, and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm only please. There is a dump station on site for all members to use.   \n\n\n\nThere is a bathhouse onsite and there will be additional port-o-lets for the dry camping area\, pavilion\, and those sites furthest from the main bathhouse. \n\n\n\n If you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-430pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\n Attending without a trailer (Staying elsewhere): \n\n\n\n Attention TCTers! Check out their website: https://www.naturecoastinn.com/  Be sure to fill out the ‘Off Site’ Rally Registration to secure your gate passes and registration packet. \n\n\n\nVOLUNTEERS: \n\n\n\nVolunteers are crucial to making this event a success! Roadside lodging would soon evolve into quaint cabin courts in the 1930s\, offering more substantial lodgings\, and eventually into more modern motels in the 1940s\, ‘50sand ‘60s.This highly visual talk is filled with period postcards as well as vintage and contemporary photography and as it will highlight many of the classic tourist courts and motels still in operation along the route\, it is a “must see” for anyone planning a road trip to get their kicks on 66! \n\n\n\nRally Theme\n\n\n\nSchool Spirit – show some school pride\, whether from your high school or college. SUMMARY:Tin Can Tourists' Mississippi Tiki Beach Rally
DESCRIPTION:Tin Can Tourists’ Mississippi Tiki Beach Rally! \n\n\n\nWhen: May 28-31\, 2026Where: Buccaneer State Park\, Waveland\, Mississippi \n\n\n\nRegistration: No rally fee is required. To secure your spot\, book your site directly through the Mississippi State Park website: https://reserve.mdwfp.com/. Be sure to select Buccaneer State Park and choose your preferred site from the 250 full hookup options available. \n\n\n\nSite Selection: The main TCT area will be located in the Gulf View sites (#207-#250)\, which are situated almost directly on the beach. However\, members are free to book any site that suits their preferences. Some factors to consider when choosing your site: \n\n\n\n• Gulf View sites: These sites are in full sun\, but the sea breeze can make them feel cooler than the inland sites with partial or full shade. Additionally\, the ocean breeze tends to keep flying insects at bay. Keep in mind that the bathhouse is a bit of a walk from these sites\, so you may want to consider biking or driving to the bathrooms. There are also two beach side tiny homes that are can be reserved in the Gulf View sites if your trailer is not road ready and you still want to attend!  \n\n\n\n• Inland sites: These sites are closer to the bathrooms and showers\, but may have more flying insects due to the lack of breeze. If you prefer an inland site\, the ‘Jean Lafitte’ loop (sites #1-25) would be a good option\, as they’re relatively close to the main TCT area. \n\n\n\nPark Amenities: Buccaneer State Park offers a range of amenities to enhance your stay\, including: \n\n\n\n• Water Park: Enjoy several water slides\, a wave pool\, kids’ area\, café\, sun decks\, and cabanas. Admission is $21 per adult for a full day\, or $13 after 2 pm. \n\n\n\n• Vintage Campground Pool: For just $6 per day\, you can enjoy the vintage pool\, which features two waterfalls and provides a great way to cool off. Your armband allows for in-and-out privileges. \n\n\n\n• Hiking Trails: Explore the park’s natural beauty on foot or by bike. \n\n\n\n• Camp Store: Stock up on supplies and souvenirs at the park’s convenient store. \n\n\n\n• Playground: Let the kids burn off energy at the park’s playground. \n\n\n\n• Fishing: Try your luck at catching some fish in the local waters. \n\n\n\nSurrounding Area: The park is located near several popular attractions and amenities\, including: \n\n\n\n• Miles of biking and walking trails along the water• Public fishing piers• Casinos• Nearby towns:o Waveland (7 miles)o Bay St Louis (12 miles)o Gulfport (22 miles)o Biloxi (47 miles)o New Orleans (57 miles) \n\n\n\nRally Schedule: This will be a relaxed rally\, allowing plenty of time for socializing\, exploring\, and enjoying the park’s amenities. We’ll have a TIKI Beach Party potluck on Friday evening\, which is a great opportunity to meet new members and have some fun. \n\n\n\nAfter booking your site\, please send an email to TCT.Heintz@Gmail.com with your name and site number to add yourself to the list. This will help us keep track of attendees and ensure everyone has a great time. We look forward to seeing you at the rally!

SUMMARY:TCT Route 66 Centennial Caravan
DESCRIPTION:***** THE EVENT IS SOLD OUT – TO BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST\, EMAIL TCT1919@GMAIL.COM ***** \n\n\n\nThe Tin Can Tourists will be celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of Route 66 by hosting two caravans that both end up in Texas. The Eastern Caravan will go from Illinois to Texas. \n\n\n\nWe are an official Route 66 Centennial event recognized by the Route 66 Centennial Planning Commission. https://route66centennial.org \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEASTERN CARAVAN \n\n\n\nWe’ve reached the limit of 25 trailers/motorcoaches for the Eastern Caravan and booking of campgrounds is nearly complete. After the caravan participants have booked their sites\, if anyone wants to participate along the caravan route\, we will provide the campground information and they can make reservations at the same campgrounds if sites are available but that might mean a nearby campground. We will welcome all to rally with us at the final destination\, which should have ample room for everyone. We will bring extra caravan merchandise that you can buy in Amarillo.  \n\n\n\nThe Eastern Caravan will stop in these towns along the eastern part of Route 66: \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7th – Springfield\, Illinois \n\n\n\nMonday\, June 8th – Waynesville\, Missouri \n\n\n\nTuesday\, June 9th – Claremore\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 10th – Foss\, Oklahoma\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 11th – Sunday\, June 14th\, Amarillo TX – https://www.visitamarillo.com/events/route-66/\n\n\n\nReturning home will be at your pace and up to you to schedule – you could stay down in Texas for awhile with friends from the caravan\, head to a different part of the country to visit a National Park you’ve never experienced\, or rush home for work!\n\n\n\n\nThe caravans are purposely planned to be a slow pace of 200-250 and a consistent drive each day. We will provide a list of places to stop along the route to sightsee and to take pictures. \n\n\n\nWe have room for 25 vintage trailers on the Eastern Caravan. \n\n\n\nWe also expect that TCT members may want to join us at any point in the route or join us at the final campground for the Route 66 festival in Amarillo\, Texas. That would be great and totally an option. \n\n\n\nWESTERN CARAVAN\n\n\n\nThe Western Caravan will stop in these towns along the western part of Route 66: \n\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7th – Mother Road Museum – Barstow\, California \n\n\n\nMonday\, June 8th – Seligman\, AZ\n\n\n\nTuesday\, June 9th – Gallup NM\n\n\n\nWednesday\, June 10th – Santa Rosa\, NM\n\n\n\nThursday\, June 11th – Sunday\, June 14th\, Amarillo TX – https://www.visitamarillo.com/events/route-66/\n\n\n\nReturning home will be at your pace and up to you to schedule – you could stay down in Texas for awhile with friends from the caravan\, head to a different part of the country to visit a National Park you’ve never experienced\, or rush home for work!\n\n\n\n\nThe caravans are purposely planned to be a slow pace and a consistent drive each day. We will provide a list of places to stop along the route to sightsee and to take pictures. \n\n\n\nWe have room for 25 vintage trailers to be on the Western Caravan but we aren’t limited to that. The limitation is just based on how many campsites are being reserved for us right now. \n\n\n\nWe also expect that TCT members may want to join us at any point in the route or join us at the final campground for the Route 66 festival in Amarillo\, Texas. That would be great and totally an option. \n\n\n\nREGISTRATION\n\n\n\nYou must be a TCT Member and be pulling a vintage trailer or traveling in a Vintage Motor Coach to participate in the caravan. \n\n\n\nThe caravan fee is $100 per person that will be used for caravan branded merchandise that will be provided to the attendees and for their vehicles. It will also be used to provide a meal in Amarillo at the rally. \n\n\n\nCurrent Caravan Roster\n\n\n\n(As of 4/17/26 – Eastern Caravan: 31 Trailers / Western Caravan: 32 Trailers / Rally in Texas: 73 Trailers / 131 People) \n\n\n\nNameFirstSpouse/PartnerTrailer and Tow VehicleBoneTerryMichelle1957 Avion & 2025 Ford F150MorrisonBrandonLiz1951 Lutes CoachJohnsonDougTeresa1962 Aloha Celebrity & 2024 Chevy Silverado SmilieDal1946 Model 1 Curtis Wright & 1948 StudebakerFisherBill Candy1947 Curtis WrightBastianDawn 1962 Holiday House trailer & 2019 ChevyBlaquiere DenisGinger 1975 Avion LaGrande & 2005 Dodge RamEngelNan1955 Silver Dome & 2023 Chevy SilveradoHoeh DonDawn 1976 Argosy or possibly a 1967 Streamline & 2015 GMCKwapichJohnCathi 1948 Studebaker & 1965 Avalair camper.CantrellLeeJoyce1976 Argosy24 & 2013 Ford F150SchaeferPhil G.D. 1953 Spartan manor & new pickup truckFlis-SchneiderDiane (maybe a passenger)1935 Bowlus Road Chief & 2023 Lincoln Aviator KerfootWilliam 1979 Airstream Safari & 1973 Dodge W200 PowerWagonKeenanGaryMartha1961 BambiNessimDaniel Deborah1954 Terry 16 ft & Dodge Ram truck WrightJaniceJohn1948 Western Flyer CoachHoffmannAngela Art Sonneborn1960 Avion 24 Holiday & 2018 Ford F150RodzewiczMaryMike1964 Shast Compact & Rental TruckMcCoolBrianKim1947 Spartan Manor & 1952 DeSoto wagonOlmstedKirk Beth 1989 Avion 30P & 2024 F 250DoscherGeorge Jo Ellen 1953 Spartanette & 2021 SilveradoHerrmannLuciusDanielle 1977 Airstream Class A VanHolmesMandiMichael Canned Ham & 2000 Toyota 4RunnerWestRobertKathy1961 Kenskill ButterflyMitzelDanJan 1953 Northland Coach & 1953 Ford Customline Station WagonWhartonKathyBill 1972 International Airstream & GMC DenaliWymerTim Alice 1948 Airstream Liner & F-250 Truck HaffnerRickJan1962 Aloha CelebrityMooreTomRhonda 1966 – 22” KenCraftBleauJennifer 1970 Cardinal 13′ & 2019 Ford Explorer. PatersonBarbara 1963 Field & Stream & 2012 Toyota TundraHensleyKevinConnie1963 Airstream Bambi & 1995 Chevy VanRoushWendy Bill65 Airstream Overlander & Ford TransitWedekindPatriciaKinsey Kerfoot\, Patrick Kerfoot1954 29′ Airstream Liner & 2016 RAM 1500HawkinsGordon1959 Avion R-23 & 1959 Mercury VoyagerMasonDave1961 Holiday House WhiteDaveLori FloodCustom 1948 Curtis Wright inspired motorhome towing a custom 66 corvetteHickethierTomSandy1961 20’ Yellowstone & 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500MckelveyMichaelKaren 2020 Toyota Tundra1965 tag a long 20’BurgJohnLinda1960 14 ft Corvette Can Ham1965 Ford F100 pick upMortensonDavidCheryl 1967 Aristocrat Lo Liner2006 GMC Sierra\,ShinnLindaNone – flying to AmarilloThorntonJerryLisa2012 Ford F250 pulling a 25’ 1969 AvionUhlenburgMark1955 Boles Aero Ensenada2022 Chevrolet SilveradoHarpJoelRachel1947 Boles AeroSimoneauxKeithKaren1969 Airstream Caravel2021 GMC SierraWilliamsJohn?1963 Shasta 2021 Ford BroncoHirscherWayneDiane 1946 Ford pulling1949 TeardropKawaDaveDonna Chance2001 Taylor Coach Bobbie 12 foot/ 1978 Pinto Crusing WagonBorkholderFloyd Jane 1967 Corsair2019 Dodge RamBalesPatrickJane 1964 Cardinal Lovebird2015 GMC 2500MolinarTammieAdam1966 TravelEze 21′ 2025 GMC Denali SUVSimmonsChris Kristy1949 Spartan Manor’55 Chevy Wagon or ’51 MercuryWallaceBethChris Sanor1999 Airstream SafariBundschuhJean2021 Silverado pickup and a vintage trailerKoleBarryDaugther1947 Aero Flite Falcon2021 4 RunnerNotemanGeorge Lynda1956 Airstream Bubble 2017 GMC Savana conversion vanCurryKimberlyMark1967 Streamline Empress 30′ 2023 GMC SierraMalcolmKelly Nancy Malcolm Toyota highlander 1971 Serro Scotty EckartHeather 1964 Cardinal 2016 4runnerVinsonBobSheryl 1951 Airfloat Skipper2000 chevy 3/4 4×4 pickupHeathGlenda Jerry Zambo59 Shasta2007 Toyota TacomaStennetJoseph 1972 Argosy Trailer1994 Chevy PickupAdrianJimDebra1963 Serro Scotty Sportsman2022 Ford RangerKunischJack Jodie Toyota Sequoia ‘62 ShastaWilsonBoyceAmy1949 Vagabond Model 192021 RAM Promaster VanLangleyEthan1951 Lighthouse DuplexFosterCindyEmmett Kenney1985 Sunline 14’2024 Ram pickup truckLarsonRoseRick56 Caravanner.MillerDannielRachel57 Airstream or 61 AvionCattersonShelly Marcelo1963 RoadRunner 2002 Toyota TundraJordanBill Regina Schaub1956 Comet1996 Ford Econoline\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION PROCESS:\n\n\n\nPLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WILL BE A SIGNIFICANT COMMITMENT IN TIME\, MONEY AND LONG DISTANCE TOWING.
