DESCRIPTION:In 2024\, the rally sold out in two days. \n\n\n\nThis rally is always the last full weekend in July! \n\n\n\nHow to be added to the waitlist for the rally – Go here https://huroncountyparks.com/waiting-list to join the list\, or email info@huroncountyparks.com or leave a message at 888-265-2583 \n\n\n\n—– \n\n\n\nYou must be a TCT Member to attend this event. If you have friends that want to camp with us during the rally\, just have them join the club – it really is that simple. \n\n\n\nWagener County Park staff love having us at their beautiful park on Lake Huron and have invited us back in 2025.  \n\n\n\nRegistration Process: \n\n\n\nRegistration will open on November 2nd\, 2024. Complete these TWO simple steps: \n\n\n\n\nLINK TO REGISTER – Do not share the information on social media.\n\n\n\nEmail us at tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what site you booked to be included on the roster.\n\n\n\n\nA modest rally fee of $10 will be collected at the park to pay for morning coffee & treats and a few activities. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHere is the 2025 AGENDA \n\n\n\n2025 Thumbs Up RallyDownload\n\n\n\nMake sure you read and understand their refund rules for the campsites. \n\n\n\nROSTER as of 7/22/25 \n\n\n\nSite #Name1Marty Bryan2Jennie and Roger Merkle3Gene & Sharol Brechtelsbauer4Jennifer Colling & Byron Leach5Stephanie & Herman Barnum6Diana Hadad & Michael Pierce7Jan Roselle8Terry & Michelle Bone9Kirk & Beth Olmsted10Jason & Angie Black11Tami & Jake Moomey12Cassie & Matt Padding (Kenlie and Braxton13Jim and Nancy Warner14Bob & Doreen Bergman15Terri Sibo & Alicia Barnes16Jeff & Michele Miller17Dave & Amy Fiore18Michael & Kim Marlowe19Jay Ward20Terry & Michele Fleming21aKim & Brian McCool21Lori & Barry Harris22Sandy Mastin & Steve Brown23Sherrie Smith24Debra Schrader25Sharon & Paul Sikenga26Steve & Patty Collins27?28Kathi & Al Waters29Roo & Amanda Ryan30Jenny & Jason Senior31Kim Sensiba32Todd and Amy Smith33Errica Shanahan34Dalton & Barb Colling35Stacey Peake36Traci Howden37Gayle Richards and Alison38Brian Hake39?40?41Kim & Dan Renkema42Dale & Marie Patten43Carol Baidinger44Mark & Nu Ehgotz45Bruce and Tammy Patchett46Paul & Jane Carson47TBD48?49Christine Chojnowski & mother50Kim McKnee51Wendy Rupp52Ryan & Carolyn Counterman53Eddie Byrnes & Jessica Kearney54Raija Kearney (Jessica’s Dau55TBD56Cindy Smith and Linda Bader57?58Stephen and Janet Pinkham59TBD60Lisa Heileman61Shelley Norris62Dave Finet & Marya Sosulski63Gary & Carol Higgins64Frank & Marie Sanborn65?66Marsha & Chris Pashadlo67Barry & Celia Kole68Jeanne & Brian 101Marcia and Will Mangold102Brian & Wendy Gatschene103AVAILABLE104David & Sucile Mellor105AVAILABLE\n\n\n\nSend an email to Terry & Michelle Bone – tct1919@gmail.com with your name\, site number and trailer information

You can join the club here: TCT Membership – Tin Can Tourists \n\n\n\nLast year we had a large amount of non-members that somehow booked sites. Complete these TWO simple steps: \n\n\n\n\nWe will send out registration information on November 2nd by email to TCT members only. This will give our TCT members the information first before it gets shared publicly. Do not share the information on social media.\n\n\n\nUse this link to book your site (will be available on November 4th on the website if sites are still available)\n\n\n\nEmail us at tct1919@gmail.com and let us know what site you booked to be included on the roster.\n\n\n\n\nA modest rally fee of $10 will be collected at the park to pay for morning coffee & treats and a few activities. \n\n\n\nAGENDA \n\n\n\n2024-Thumbs-Up-Rally-1Download\n\n\n\n\nCoffee/Treats each morning\n\n\n\nFarmers Markets\n\n\n\nYard Game on Friday evening\n\n\n\nCrazy theme for Friday’s games\n\n\n\nExciting prizes and awards\n\n\n\nOpen House on Saturday\n\n\n\nLight house and brewery/winery tours\n\n\n\nChilling by the campfire\n\n\n\n\nMake sure you read and understand their refund rules for the campsites. \n\n\n\nROSTER – TBD means a booked site but we weren’t informed of who is camping there. SUMMARY:2024 27th Annual Gathering
DESCRIPTION:The Annual Gathering Rally of the Tin Can Tourists is the oldest\, longest running vintage trailer rally in the country. \n\n\n\nWhat’s new for 2024?\n\n\n\n\nYou can pay by credit card this year if you’d prefer. The process to use your credit card will be that you fill out the registration form and send it by email. Once received we will create an invoice for the amount owed and email that to you for payment. Please complete the payment of the invoice once received. \n\n\n\nRally T-Shirt – you can order a rally t-shirt as part of registration. The t-shirt is designed by a TCT member (Carolle Spence) and we will have fabric markers available throughout the rally for you to color and personalize your shirt. \n\n\n\nThere is no “fall hold” this year to reserve your site for the fall rally. We had to track down too many people to pay their rally fee and/or the camping fees and we don’t want to do that again. Fall registration will open July 1st.\n\n\n\nCzapski’s Kitchen Cafe & Catering will be providing the catered meal on Friday night. We are excited to find a local Milford restaurant with a great selection to feed us before we hit the dance floor.\n\n\n\nBack by popular demand\, The Icemen Band featuring our very own Chuck Rivet will be rocking the tent on Friday night\n\n\n\nThe theme committee chose “Dress like Stanley & Helen Roper” as the theme this year. Start your thrifting for sweater vests and kaftans now!\n\n\n\n\nRegistration Form and Process\n\n\n\nREGISTRATION CLOSED ON MAY 1st \n\n\n\nAgenda\n\n\n\n2024-27th-Annual-GatheringDownload\n\n\n\nRoster\n\n\n\n103 sites filled\, 185 people attending \n\n\n\nSITE #Name3Coats6Johnson9Richards11Gelletly16Celini18McKnee19Martin20Jernigan21Brown22Byrnes25Kole28Frame37Higgins43Hake44Shanahan45Bergman46Smiley47Hindley48Haneckow49OConnor50Hershberger51Bailey53Garlow54Solsbury55Curtis56Chetcuti57White II58Warren59Haeske61Kelly65Murphy66Kessler67Kennedy68Fredlund69Fillwock71Binkley72Krusac74Ferkany75Dettmann80Senior81Carlton82Starner84Cavanaugh92Gould94DuHame96Warner97Broxon98Miller99Truitt100Brechtelsbauer101DuHame102Mackie103Cousins105Howard106Brian108Bone109COFFEE STATION110Chabot111Elsey112Demane/Plosker113McFarland114Rivet115Roth116Eliot117Kane118Sandin119Brown120Poshadlo121Koenig122Williams123Mangold126Nelson130Miklautsch131Lidster132Gruener133Smith134Waters135Turner136Thomas137Fodell138Schrader139Rodzewicz140Piper141Diller142Cushing143Spycher144Sanborn145Coulter146Pray147Kwapich148Wendt150Klauss151Fiore152Sibo153Dunn154Chojnowski155McCool156Ryan157McCool158CAMP DEARBORN159Black160Moomey161Olmsted\n\n\n\nFacebook group for the event: TCT Spring and Fall Rallies (Camp Dearborn – Milford Michigan) | Facebook \n\n\n\nHere is a map of the campground\n\n\n\ncampdearbornmap \n\n\n\n“No Burn Zone”\n\n\n\nThe “no burn zone” is a small area that we don’t allow campfires to protect the trailers that are not resistant to sparks or embers. SUMMARY:2021 24th Annual Gathering
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED \n\n\n\nWe are excited to be able to get back to camping with our friends. We are offering a safe camping experience for our members. \n\n\n\nAgenda: \n\n\n2021-24th-Annual-Gathering\n \n\n\n\nWe are so looking forward to finally being able to safely gather with friends. \n\n\n\nPlease note: We won’t be adding activities to the rally. We’ve already gotten a few requests and we really want this to be mostly a camping weekend with friends. This is going to be the first large group camping event for many of us and keeping it low key and safe for everyone is important. The biggest activity for most of us will be packing enough food and cooking meals for the entire event! \n\n\n\nClick here for Rally Safety Guidelines that the TCT Events are following during 2021 \n\n\n\nInformation needed to select your site for the rally\n\n\n\nCURRENT LIST OF TCT MEMBERS REGISTERED FOR THE EVENT AS OF 5/10/21 – (83 registered)\n\n\n\nSITE #Name3Broxon4Rose5Higgins6Clubine7Coats10Vandekerckhove11Gelletly13Curtis15Beyma16Fodell17Howden18Jernigan19Martin20Byrnes21Brown22Shanahan23Pray24McJunkin25Kole26Hoskins27Shemwell32Reynolds33Thompson41Frame42Hake43Truitt45Bergman47Flis-Schneider48Evans49Boutilier50Hershberger51Bailey54Skapyak55Bastian56Pline63Kruz65Howell66RESERVED67Meyers73RESERVED74McCullough75Dettman77RESERVED79RESERVED81Piper82Starner83Warren95Donahue96Warner98Parker99Cavanaugh100Atkinson101Hardekoph107Korr108Bone109McFarland110Chabot111Elsey112Plosker113Lidster114Brown116Eliot117Mechling126Curto127Doscher128Kwapich129Vidu131Loyer132Gruener133Sandin135Leitner141Diller143Liabenow145Hubanks147Klauss148Perry149DuPon150Allison153Fiore154Woodby156Morrison157McCool158Olmsted159Black160Moomey161Nicolet167Johnson\n\n\n\nHere is a map of the campground\n\n\n\ncampdearbornmapDownload\n\n\n\n“No Burn Zone” \n\n\n\nThe “no burn zone” is a small area that we don’t allow campfires to protect the trailers that are not resistant to sparks or embers. SUMMARY:Tin Can Tutoring: Vintage Trailer Insurance 101
DESCRIPTION:NOTE – this will start at 3:00pm EASTERN TIME \n\n\n\nTin Can Tourists presents our first virtual tutoring session for 2021. In our first session\, TCT Southeast Regional Representative – Tim Heintz\, will discuss the often misunderstood topic of trailer insurance. How to properly insure your vintage trailer is a regular question in the Tin Can Tourists Facebook group and we see so many who think they insured their trailer correctly only to learn the hard way when they submit their first claim. \n\n\n\nThe session will start with a brief presentation and we will allow for lots of time for Q&A. \n\n\n\nAbout Tim: Heintz Designs’ Vintage Restoration Team grew from the passion & hobby of its founder\, Tim Heintz. For over 20 years Tim has been collecting and restoring vintage RV/trailer coaches and displaying them at various vintage RV shows and museums. \n\n\n\nNOTE – we will provide the Zoom Information to those that RSVP below a few days before the session.
