DESCRIPTION:Greetings TCTers! \n\n\n\n     The 107th Annual Winter Convention Registration is officially open! (See registration forms below) We are happy to be returning to the Robinson Ranch right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between downtown Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to book early as we only have 130 elect/water sites\, in addition to a dry camping field\, and the event will fill up fast!  \n\n\n\nPlease note there are two different registration forms attached to this email\, one for attending the event with a trailer and one for those that want to attend but do not have a trailer and wish to stay nearby by acquiring their own accommodations and attending the daily rally events with a gate pass.  \n\n\n\n DATES: \n\n\n\nThe official convention dates will be February 19-22\, 2026 with February 18th being an optional early arrival day. Remember\, like last year no member will be allowed to arrive on site earlier than the 18th of February as this venue is not a public RV park and we are only contracted to have our members arrive on the specific rally days. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the general area earlier\, you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park/state park until the gates open at noon February 18th 2026. The venue has agreed that anyone that wants to stay a night or two AFTER the official rally may do so for an additional $30.00 per night paid in person to the venue host (Dave) at the conclusion of the event. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN: \n\n\n\nTCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between noon-4:30pm EST if possible and please be patient as we direct all rigs during parking. Official check in will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsite parking is all ‘First Come First Served’. There is the option of registering for a 30 amp Electric/Water site OR a dry camping area. The Dry Camping area does have some water hook ups in the general area for filling tanks and if you want to park near a water hook up in the dry camping area it will be a first come first serve basis. Generators will be allowed in the Dry Camping area only\, and designated hours to run generators will be 9am-11am and 6pm-8pm only please. There is a dump station on site for all members to use.   \n\n\n\nThere is a bathhouse onsite and there will be additional port-o-lets for the dry camping area\, pavilion\, and those sites furthest from the main bathhouse. \n\n\n\n If you do not pick up your registration bag on Wednesday you may pick it up at the gate on Thursday from 11am-430pm or at the Thursday evening Meet and Greet. \n\n\n\n Attending without a trailer (Staying elsewhere): \n\n\n\n Attention TCTers! If you’re willing to lend a hand\, please indicate your interest on the registration form or let a TCT official know when you arrive. We need help with setup\, registration\, breakdown\, wristband checks\, meal service\, cleanup\, gate duty\, and more.  \n\n\n\nSCHEDULE: \n\n\n\nThere are many events planned during the 107th Winter Convention\, catered meals\, meet and greets\, movie night\, live entertainment\, contests\, swap meet\, vintage trailer open house\, and so much more! DON’T FORGET THIS YEAR’S THEME:  ‘Tail Gate Party!’ bring your best sports team decoration for your trailer and your sports memorabilia from your favorite sports team\, high school\, college alumni gear\, etc… ALL Sports allowed\, from Football\, Basketball\, Baseball\, Golf\, NASCAR\, Curling\, Cheese Rolling\, Competitive Ironing\, etc… Pull out those old cheerleading outfits\, sports uniforms\, even mascot costumes! The park is incredibly nice with a lot to do in and around Historical DeFuniak Springs. If anyone would like to camp with our group that will be at Twin Lakes RV Resort they may do so by calling Twin Lakes and booking a site for Oct 2-5 2025. https://twinlakescampresort.com/ Twin Lakes only allows RSVPs by phone so if you call with no answer please leave a message and they will return your call as soon as possible\, remember they are on Central Time Zone. All sites are full hook up! They also require a $50 non refundable / Non Transferable deposit for all reservations. If you want to come stay with the rest of the TCTers be sure to make your RSVPs soon! No Rally FEE…..Just an outdoor group pot luck on Saturday Evening 530pm CDT Please Bring a dish to share\, a chair\, and your libation! The resort also offers cabins\, tiny homes\, glamping tents\, yurts\, etc… for those that want to attend but may not have a camping rig just yet!

DESCRIPTION:The 105th Annual Winter Convention Registration is open!  We have a new home for the TCT Winter Convention which will be the Private Robinson Ranch located in a pristine old Florida setting right on the Withlacoochee Riverside between Dunnellon Florida and Inglis Florida. Be sure to send your TCT registration early as we only have 130 elect/water sites in addition to a dry camping field. There is a dump station on site and a bath house in the park. Do Not contact the park and please only coordinate through Tim Heintz / Tin Can Tourists.  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDATES:The official convention dates will be February 21-25\, 2024 with February 21st being an optional early arrival day. This year no rigs will be allowed to arrive earlier than the 21st of February as this venue is not a public RV park so we are only allowed to have our members arrive on the official dates contracted for the rally. If you are traveling long distance and plan to arrive in the area earlier you will need to make arrangements at a nearby RV park until the convention gates open at 11:00am on February 21st 2024. \n\n\n\nCHECK IN:TCT will have a large number of rigs arriving on Wednesday and Thursday. We are asking members to arrive at the park between 11:00am-5:00pm EDT if possible and please be patient as we direct rigs to the sites. Official registration will occur at the gate when you arrive. If arriving after hours and need assistance in parking please contact Tim Heintz once you arrive on site by calling 850.739.0237 \n\n\n\nTCT campsites are all ‘First Come First Serve’. They also require a $50 non refundable / Non Transferable deposit for all reservations. I have personally camped at this park several times and it is one of the best places I have ever stayed\, they definitely have the best showers I have ever encountered at any RV park! DESCRIPTION:It’s not too late! Registration for the 104th TCT Winter Convention is still open. (Official dates: February 23-26\, 2023 with early arrival on Wednesday February 22nd\, 2023.) \n\n\n\nNEW LOCATION!!! \n\n\n\nThe 2023 Winter Convention has moved to a new location at Lake Oklawaha KOA in Fort McCoy\, Florida. (https://koa.com/campgrounds/fort-mccoy/).  Official Registration can be found attached to this email or at the TCT website: https://tincantourists.com/event/104th-winter-convention/. There is no need to contact the park if you are attending the winter convention Wednesday\, Thursday\, Friday\, and/or Saturday night. If you wish to arrive at the park prior to the early arrival date\, you will then need to contact the park and make an RSVP for earlier days (Tuesday night or earlier) and make sure they know you are coming with the TCT so they book you a site in our rally area. All sites will be full hook ups with 30-amp power. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOfficial itinerary will be emailed to all registered attendees in the next several weeks but as of right now we have these events confirmed: Meet and Greet social (Bring a hors d’oeuvers to share)\, Ginger Blaquiere’s gift exchange\, Friday Night Lights (Best lighting award)\, Pancake Breakfast\, Chilli/Stew/Soup/Cornbread contest (Prizes for best of each)\, 50/50 drawings\, Event T-Shirts\, awesome door prizes (Harvest host\, RecPro\, Vintage Trailer Supply\, Airstream Inc\, Airstream Heritage Museum\, etc..)\, Swap Meet\, and much more!     \n\n\n\nWhat if your trailer is not rally ready or you do not have a trailer yet? You can still join in the fun:   \n\n\n\nThe Tin Can Tourists received an offer by ‘The Griffin Ranch’ just down the road from the park for a discount should any of our members want to attend the winter convention but unable to bring a rig. The ranch has cabins as well as vintage Airstreams on site that can be rented. Be sure to give them a call and let them know you are with the Tin Can Tourists. Fee = $25.00 for one rig with 2 people and $15.00 for one rig with 1 person (Cash & exact change please). Rally Fees will pay for food & supplies furnished during the rally. Any leftover will be donated to St. Agathas Episcopal Church\, (SAEC)\, which is hosting us. (Remember\, there is no sitefee to camp) Feel free if you would like to make an additional donation to St. Agathas\, (contact Alex or Mendy). Sites have water & electric – NO SEWER or Dump Station. \n\n\n\n2) We will park “end to end” on the street in order of arrival. Move tow vehicle as soon as your rig is parked. \n\n\n\n3) All times are noted in Central Time Zone. It’s cold this time of year — Bring warm clothing! \n\n\n\n4) NOTE: There will be a public open house on Saturday\, January 22. (Wear a mask. DESCRIPTION:Come enjoy a fun Christmas themed campout at Oak Alley RV Resort in Webster Florida. This event is a great opportunity to just relax and have fun with all your TCT friends. There will be no registration nor a rally fee with TCT\, but you must call Oak Alley to reserve and pay for a campsite for this event. The nightly fee for TCT is $35 with full hookups\, pickle ball and shuffle ball courts and use of a big beautiful clubhouse. Tell them you are with TCT as they will be grouping us together. Reservations will accepted starting April 19th 2021 for a 90 day period ending July 19th 2021. Do not call before April 19th to make a reservation. The reservation window may be expanded depending on the number of confirmed reservations. At this time Oak Alley is blocking out 40 sites for TCT. All TCTers are encouraged to bring your Christmas decorations for your trailer. SUMMARY:CANCELLED - Tin Can Tourists 102nd Annual Winter Convention
DESCRIPTION:CANCELLED DUE TO LACK OF RSVPs AND COVID RESTRICTIONS \n\n\n\nDue to COVID concerns\, registration commitments were extremely low as compared to previous years and financial commitments/contracts required to hold the rally could not be supported. \n\n\n\nThis year will be packed full of fun and safe events. We will do everything we can to keep everyone safe and healthy. We found a professional caterer that will prepare meals safely and severed in to-go containers allowing members to eat at socially distanced tables or take their meals back to their trailer. This year event T-Shirts are included in the rally packet. There will be a socially distanced outdoor movie night (Every trailer gets Jiffy Pop and other movie treats in their welcome packet.) Custom TCT Mask will be provided for all members. New this year is a shuffle board tournament (Mask required for participates) and we are sure to have some strong competition as other Rallies have had Shuffle Board and we are finding out that teams have officially been formed and some already have their own team uniforms!  There will not be a Public open house this year but we will have Friday Night Lights were members are encouraged to decorate the exteriors with lights and open all their curtains with interior lights turned on so we can all ‘tour’ and ‘view’ the trailers outside safely from the windows. Saturday will also include a Swap meet as usual and the Ladies Exchange that we had last year. Sanitation will be a top priority for this event!
