| Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby?While we love vintage trailers we purchased an Airstream in 2015 that offered modern amenities so we could eventually hand it down to our daughter. We visited Bob and Karen Elsey at the last TCT gathering at Camp Dearborn and really enjoyed the TCT community. Although our Airstream is only 6 years old it will soon be considered vintage. What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now? What is your dream vintage trailer? We own a 2015 Airstream International and it’s our first trailer. Previously to owning our trailer we were tent campers. What do you tow with? GMC Sierra Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally? We’ve attended the Urban Air Airstream Rally in Eaton Rapids, MI. We really enjoy the community and getting to know other Airstreamers and vintage trailer owners. Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists? We’ve known about TCT for awhile and after attending the last gathering at Camp Dearborn decided that it would be great to get know others in TCT. Everyone is friendly and enjoy having a good time. What are your camping plans for this year? We typically camp on the West Coast of Michigan. We love Lake Michigan and it’s beautiful beaches! |
