We purchased Irma in 2017 in Topeka, Kansas. Hurricane Irma was on target to hit Jacksonville in September 2017 so we evacuated and picked her up in Topeka. When we found her, interior restoration was nearly complete with the exterior needing windows, repairs and paint. The front seats have the original springs and have been reupholstered. Greetings all, I’m writing a book about 1970’s Shasta trailers, and a large part of it will be identifying trailers. Ads and sales brochures have excellent photos to help identify models for each year. I’ve collected full line dealer catalogs for 1973, 1976-1979 but I can’t seem to track down anything for 1970-72, and 1974-75. We took the most popular elements of the Spartan Carousel and incorporated them into this renovated Spartan Villa. We rebuilt the kitchen using the circular counter/cabinet layout and large disc ceiling light that was an iconic feature of the Carousel. 1960 Spartan Villa 36ft WE also added a full wall of windows in the front of the trailer.
