Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby?
We love everything vintage. We live in a 1913 Craftsman home, have classic cars/trucks, restored a 1963 Glas-cat 15′ boat. Have always wanted to get a classic trailer to make our own.
What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now? What is your dream vintage trailer?
Just bought a 1969 Kit Companion Stowaway. Our first trailer. I joined several vintage trailer groups on social media. A very nice lady working with fire crews saw a trailer parked with a for sale sign and shared the info. It was about 100 miles from us and too good a deal to pass up.
What do you tow with?
We plan to tow with our 57 Chevy. Also have a small SUV as well.
Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally?
Not yet, but looking forward to the opportunity and possibly hosting one in our little area. Spokane, Wa
Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists?
Found TCT while researching vintage trailers. Actually the only source I found mentioning our Stowaway as a model. After reading the history of the club and seeing the fun folks had at the rallies, it was a no brainer to join.
What are your camping plans for this year?
Remains to be seen. Yellowstone is our favorite camping spot and we go every couple years. If we get our trailer done in time we may have to go there for a maiden trip.
Thanks for letting us join, Lori and Jeremy
