The 2025 Nile Valley Rally, a beloved vintage trailer event, marked its 10th anniversary this year with a weekend of celebration, games, and traditions at Jim Sprick Park along the Naches River.

10 Year Anniversary – 2025
Jim Sprick Park is nestled at the base of the Cascade Mountains, along the Naches River, on the beautiful grassy grounds of the community park, 32 miles from Yakima, WA.
Founded in 2015 by Ben and Denise Santjer and Steve and Rita Babcock, the rally has grown into a highly anticipated event that draws 50 trailers each year. This rally is known for its welcoming atmosphere that feels more like a family reunion than a rally.

This year’s theme, “There is Gold in Them Thar Hills,” brought out Gold Miners and Gold Diggers who competed in games of chance at participating trailers including a human slot machine, built by Steve Babcock.

Seven lucky winners participated in a Blackjack Tournament for the finals on Saturday night.
Over the past decade, the rally has featured creative themes such as Bobby Socks and Boomerangs,Murder Mystery –Tragedy at the Trailer Park,Camp Heep-A-Big-Fun Summer Camp,HillbillyHootenannyTheHatfieldsandMcCoys&FamilyFeudGameShow,Let’sMake a Deal Game Show, and many more.

In addition to themed activities, the rally has established traditions of its own. The annual Flamingo Float—inspired by a “zonk” prize from a past rally—brings dozens of bright pink flamingos floating down the Naches River. The Duck Race is another highlight, with participants buying numbered ducks for $5 and racing them downstream for cash prizes.

To commemorate the 10th anniversary, attendees gathered for a toast and cake celebration, reflecting on a decade of friendship, laughter, and community.
