For sale. 1949 Schult 30' Cavalier travel trailer. $5000. Located in Frenchtown Montana. Solid 77 year old trailer. At one time this used by wildlife biologists John and Frank craighead. They used it while doing grizzly bear research in Yellowstone National Park. There is a craighead institute in Bozeman now. The trailer is solid, but will need some restoration. How much restoration depends on what the new owner want to do. The floor is all solid warmth no soft spots. It has a steel frame with steel floor supports. No rust. Walls and roof are solid. Supposedly these roofs are very strong and you can walk on top of it. The interior will need some work to be usable, and more work to be nice. The ceiling panels are mostly usable, but have sagged down. I'm sure they'll at least need to come down, and possibly replaced. The cabinetry is all in good shape throughout the trailer. It will need some kind of flooring. The vintage heater may work. I didnt try it. The propane wall heater works, and heats the whole thing in the winter. The pics tell the story. It pull nice.
