Can you tell us about how you got into the vintage trailer hobby?
We’re new to the RV lifestyle. Our RV is a class A, 1995 (old enough to join the group!)
What type of trailers have you owned and what do you have now? What is your dream vintage trailer?
1995 Tiffin Allegro Bay 34′. We consider this RV, our first, to be our dream RV.
What do you tow with?
Our RV sometimes tows our Toyota Prius on a tow dolly. 54 ‘ total, when we do that.
Do you attend rallies and what do you like the most about attending a rally?
Fall gathering, Camp Dearborn, was our first We had a great time, and will do more TCT rallies next year.
Why did you decide to join the Tin Can Tourists?
We like older cars, and people who restore old vehicles / trailers / motorhomes. We did not see other groups that do what TCT owners / members do.
What are your camping plans for this year?
Going to Pennsylvania in 4 days, for a 4 day week-end, including a Pittsburgh Pirates game.
Welcome, Allegros are great motorhomes, that said it doesn’t have to be old to join Tin Can Tourists….. I think there would be more members if the myth, that the rig has to be old, was put to rest. My trailer was only 5 years old when I joined, it’s 25 years old now.
